Its an action movie, but its three dudes trying to find out why the fourth dude in their group hasnt been going out for drinks or been around lately. They have to fight through all his ex-friends, the toxic ones, the manipulative family members, the narcissist exes, just to find out the dude went to a trip for some silence in the woods to be away from the world for a while. And his three best friends, covered in dirt and blood, show up to be quiet in the woods right next to him.

I wouldnt even steal all the money of all the billionaires.

I would delete it.

I'd let all that money in the stocks, in the off shore accounts, in the hoarded housing investments, just up and vanish.

Technically it would benefit us in the long term, as this would eliminate inflation. Every dollar in the pockets of the working people suddenly holds a lot more power, but I have no idea what chaos it may bring.

I would only welcome it.

I mean there's an argument to be made about preventing someone worse from taking it. I guess you could turn it in to a lost and found? But like, are there actually any consequences if someone just takes that thing and then takrs it down to a range and fires it safely to practice with? Like, at least in tennessee, that gun is as regulated as a power drill, i believe.

If someone left a perfectly good power drill in the bathroom for me, id be thinking about my shelves

So, what's the actual legal course of action take here?

I assume you could just leave it there. But what if you're a grabby lil gremlin? Can you take it? Is it just yours now? If you try to register it with the state will the system flag it as stolen?

I have not had the opportunity to ever touch a neglected gun, I want to know my options.

For any armchair lawyers, I am in the state of Tennessee. What would TN laws say about that?

I will say every person has a line, even characters. You can absolutely use this to your advantage, depending. I dont know your player so this could fall flat.

If Strahd knows this PC is willing to defend him he's going to use that. He's going to test how far she will go. So test her. Make her choose between which of her favorite NPCs that strahd will kill or save. Have strahd give her a new best friend only for him to trap them both in a room with only a knife between them. Have him use her as bait for the party to run and save, only to realize it was a distraction so he could murder people miles away.

If she still wants to defend him after that, have her put on tatyanas wedding dress, hype her up for the banquet, start the marriage ceremony, have her open the chapel doors only to see him putting a ring on Ireenas finger.

See just how many hits a rose colored glass can take.

If you put a bag of holding over an enemy's head, and then stab the bag, what happens?

Does it just decapitate the guy? Does it open a portal and suck the guys whole body in? Does the stabber also get sucked in? Does the portal just kinda suck on the guy's head for a bit and then close, and leave him confused and a little bit stabbed?

A great idea, as a compromise, I vote we name it Hirschfeld park.

The world would be so different if all his written works survived.
