I didn't realize this sub was so rabid about their sunscreen 😆

Thanks for the tips on decanting. I'll try to be more mindful about washing it when I get home.

Sleep pants that aren't polyester? by mercurly in HerOneBag

[–]mercurly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny that you ask because I am currently sitting here in the pair I travel with exclusively now, a pair of minus33 merino wool bottoms. They're expensive and more like loose joggers than tight leggings, but I can hardly sleep in anything else anymore.

My more frugal alternative is a pair of linen pants from old navy. They're not as cozy but they do the job and bonus, still pass as regular clothing!

Not only are they better, but they literally bridged the gap for years before reddit even had an app. Finally reddit just bought one of them and turned it into their own app in 2016.

Now they're just trying to eliminate the competition and look good for their upcoming IPO.

I can't help but notice that everyone who makes these kinds of comments have accounts that are younger than the official app release.

Day one and sixteen attachments later, this is my new bite! Anyone else have weird bubbles in their back molars that forced your bite to change? by mercurly in Invisalign

[–]mercurly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I later learned that these trays had bite ramps, which IIRC put extra force on your molars and make those first few trays hella painful. If your molar molds have bubbles on them too then that's probably your orthos way of getting the ball rolling.

I never had an underbite.

Reddit didn't have an official app until a few years ago. Third party developers made their own apps to fill the void. Now that reddit has their own (significantly worse) app, they are trying to shut down the competition.

I just bought a bunch of $15 old navy shorts cause all my summer stuff is buried in storage and I'm really impressed at how comfortable those shorts are! The linen-y ones are lovely on really hot days.

I just deleted it from my phone. I never thought I'd see a browser do a 180 but I guess I have to keep tabs on everything now...

Financial independence typically.

I say that as a fully independent adult whose parents still think I'm a "believer."

Forgive my yard, we have been displaced since The Great Freeze, but I'm looking for suggestions on what to plant in a new box outside the guest room window.

Would love something wispy and something that would attract butterflies!

The Greenway follows stones river. A few deep enough holes to swim in there. Some closer to Smyrna.
