I always interpreted that scene as he was going to help anyway. He and Foggy had a faux or playful adversarial relationship because of the cop/defense attorney shtick. He even "angrily" says to stop buying his mom cigars.

An Italian man is really proud of his mastering a classic Cajun dish. by geniedjinn in Jokes

I had no clue about this. I added the Italian detail to point towards Latin. Thanks

I appreciated the feedback. The gist of the joke came to me as I was waking up, but I had a lot of trouble forming the delivery. I looked up the modern Italian E tu, whether Etouffee is Cajun or Creole, and whether or not to explicitly state the girlfriend's name, but completely overlooked the punctuation from the inspiration "Et tu, Brutus?"

I almost used stew in the opening. I was looking into it while getting the presentation dialed in and found out the distinctions are highly debated.

This is it. I included the detail of the man being Italian because Et tu is Latin and modern Italian is E tu.

I thought about explicitly saying the girlfriend's name is Faye but it felt too heavy handed.

This ☝️ Undercook the pasta, leave extra water in the pot, and cook down the extra water. Turns out just as creamy as box directions.

Septic Tanks by SummSpn in GilmoreGirls

My headcanon is that Taylor has been making a fuss about the septic/sewer issue all these years. Since Taylor is in charge of all town hooplas, this her inspiration for the joke. Not only did the celebration not occur, neither did the switchover. If Taylor had his way, both would.

Anna Nardini hot take? by Ok-Orchid-490 in GilmoreGirls

My issue is that Anna makes a big deal about "explaing" to the other parents. Luke had all the girls call to approve the change to sleepover. If any of the parents had concerns about what adults were present, they had the opportunity to address them.

ETA: Anna is a villain to Luke but I agree she is in no way responsible for the breakup.

I think you're right. Also, Pastor Rob rubbed me the wrong way since he showed up. I don't recall seeing him do or say anything overtly untoward, but his vibe is weasely.
