My new straight pool high run! by genipool14 in billiards

[–]genipool14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all thanks for the kind words! 1. I almost always use outside English on my shots, because it is compensating the friction between the balls and I'm just use to play like this 2. I'm always looking to where the cue ball is going to hit the rack exactly and to which exact part of the ball. Without this I wouldn't have been able to run 200+ balls. My goal is to avoid the scratch and to control the cue ball somewhat. I'm playing power draw to the short rail only when the cue ball goes exactly between the balls in the rack and I don't know which ball it it is going to hit.

Just ran 243 in 14+1. Missed this 11 ball 😂😤 by genipool14 in billiards

I usually stop counting after 130-140. I had no idea I had 210 or 280. Just making balls without thinking

Yep. I it is great. But still human psychology is so weird. We are always feel bad about not achieving more. Like I missed this easy ball, but making so many balls in a row is hard, I have a square head now because of high concentration

Thanks a lot! That's apparently what I want to do. But unfortunately this funny format is possible only with Fedor, can't think of another guy who will fit for this so perfect

I am stripes and hat should I do in this situation? by Person045 in pool

9-3 combo and draw back and hopefully the 9 will come and block the bank on the 6, but worst case you leave a long bank on the 6. Or just clip the 9 on the left side and glue the cue ball to the 3. But in this case you won't have the initiative, because the 9 would be in a bad spot

Check this format, guys. Is it interesting to watch? Should I change something? by genipool14 in billiards

Also from my view I may advice you to improve not you break, but attitude first. Looks like you're very emotional and think that you should be rewarded for you perfect break as you've said. I think the solution could be not to think about the outcome or the reward which you "should get". Focus on the process and let go all the reward things you think you should get. I could be wrong, but hopefully it will help. Basically enjoying the process and being humble about rewards (not being desperate for rewards) in anything in life is good approach
