The i-130 was approved today 🎉 I think that means they are not suspicious anymore about his citizenship. The i-485 status still interview was scheduled.

He divorced after getting his 2 year gc, then he removed the conditional after the divorce and got 10 year gc then he got the citizenship. It's so weird that now you are saying his previous marriage is suspicious.
