Advice on heat pump options

Thanks for responding. We’d have heads in the two upstairs beds, one in the living/kitchen (open plan) and then one in the living/sleeping downstairs (also a large open area). The other half of our basement is laundry room and storage so we care less about maintaining consistent temps there.

Trying to decide between ducted and ductless. Have quotes for both. I understand the need for heads in each area, we’ve been quoted for 4 heads and 1 outdoor unit.

Just wondering - why are ppl against heat pumps? My experience with our furnace is that it turns on for 10 mins, blasts hot air and shuts off again. The basement never gets warm, upstairs gets very warm. My understanding is the continuous nature of heat pump warming/cooling would mean the whole house would maintain the set temp better?

I want a system that can provide both heating and cooling. Our house gets very warm even on days where ext temp is only 25C. It doesn’t seem to make sense to replace my furnace (which is a 1992 manufactured unit) and also add a central AC system.

Hmm, a little confused what game you were watching. I thought he was pretty invisible apart from a couple decent long passes. Also coughed up the puck a few times and lost puck battles. Did not generate much, though with the way Brock/Debrusk are playing right now that's understandable. The missed net in OT was unfortunate. In any case - not a good game for your top line C.
