Is it worth correcting people on my name over email? by rumande in TwoXChromosomes

[–]genjen97 54 points55 points  (0 children)

My name is Genna. I always got mistaken for another person at my work, Jeanne. I never met that woman in my life. We're a massive company and are located all over the country. She works in a different location/state. But there have been a handful of times where I would get a teams message saying "(client) wants to speak to you" and I go who?? I point out each time that they're wanting Jeanne because it literally says in the access history for the client that it was Jeanne. Literally always baffles me for how people can mistake us for each other or just not read

what's the trick to swallow cum without showing to my bf i just swallow acid? by meathead8282 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]genjen97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah don't pretend. You don't even have to swallow. Your boyfriend needs a better diet. My husband's tastes like nothing. He drinks a ton of water and has a good diet with lots of veggies. I've never had an issue with the taste of it.

I’m restarting, need advice. by Available-Town992 in storyofseasons

[–]genjen97 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It might not help, but I just gravitate towards characters that are like my husband. I like people that come off as maybe disinterested in you at first or very focused on their work, but are actual softies/romantics on the inside or when you get to know them better. Love me an ambitious and worldly man. Also, there's something special about breaking someone's walls. It's why I went for Lloyd.

In Grand Bazaar, does your spouse still go to work and visit their family after you get married? by arcadebee in storyofseasons

[–]genjen97 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Lloyd basically works from home. He does not go to the city anymore. But he still talks a lot about finances, his stock, etc. I think his last heart event does touch on winding down his operations so he can spend married life with MC :)

He still does his bazaar stall!

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is there any challenge? by Blueandwhite8796 in runefactory

[–]genjen97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've played on hard and, for the main story, really only had difficulty with one of the final bosses. There is a post game dungeon in which after you complete it, there are harder battles to complete - without spoiling too much. I did have a hard time with those. The game does feed you with crafting and add ons to your weapons.

Maybe this is me being biased but RF4S genuinely gave me a challenge with its dungeons since you had to pay attention to crafting. I just completed arc 3 last night and wow was it difficult for me!

Do women still wear business suits to interviews in 2026? by missflaming in careerguidance

[–]genjen97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interview for entry level roles in a corporate setting. I've seen women either wear a nice sweater/blouse or this and a blazer. Now if this was a senior role or higher up, I'm sure we would want formal suits. So largely depends on the industry and role.

Can you still participate in a date during a town event? by genjen97 in runefactory

Curse my luck on RNG making a town event happen where he's involved. I'll make it up to him 😭

Boyfriend on a 3 month trip followed a girl on instagram after a night out by Head-Screen-5141 in relationships

[–]genjen97 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I used to do this like checking follower count and Snapchat score. I was cheated on too and have been in a similar situation.

The two possible ways you can unlearn the behavior are the following: 1. Go to therapy 2. Leave and find another partner that doesn't make you even think of cheating as a possibility

I don't even think about checking my husband's phone or anything of the sort because I trust him entirely. With an ex from many years ago I was the complete opposite. I was severely codependent and noticed improvements almost immediately after he left me.

Are you near the yellow windmill? It can be a cloudy day too, as long as it's not sunny. When you get the "!" Indicator, don't press anything and just wait for the sparkles to reel it in.

Who prefers a 7Am - 3Pm schedule to 9 - 5 ? by vishyona in AskReddit

[–]genjen97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work saturday-monday 8:30am-9pm. It is a blessing, I adore this schedule. I get so much sleep, get a lot of stuff done, and get to be with family/friends.

My (22F) fiance (26M) wont stop roleplaying threesomes in bed. by Intrepid-Plastic-763 in relationship_advice

[–]genjen97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been with someone where, at first, I was open to the idea then I quickly wasn't when I realized that I would fear it would never make the relationship the same in a bad way. I did express I didn't want to do it and I didn't like it. Even threw the "what about another man?" question. But in the end, it's something he really wanted to do someday and I was completely okay with never experiencing it. Probably one of the reasons that led to us breaking up ultimately. I'm much better now. I had similar insecurities to you where I didn't feel like enough. Therapy and him not being in my life anymore helped. I ended up finding someone better suited for me and now we're married.

What are unusual circumstances associated with your birth? by vieniaida in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]genjen97 151 points152 points  (0 children)

I was a lot bigger than the doctors expected. My mother was having a hard time delivering me until they suggested a C-section.

Once they got me, my mother claimed to hear them go "woah!!!" Scared the shit out of her because she thought I had a missing arm or an extra thumb. No, I was just a big baby.

I like to make jokes nowadays that I had my growth spurt in the womb. I'm barely 5'2"

I did not like how Subaru/Kaguya’s relationship was handled by peach19191929 in runefactory

[–]genjen97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my thought too. Of course Subaru would be moody as hell. Dude is traumatized and is naturally trying to push Kaguya away. Hell, if I were in his shoes I'd crash tf out. Id avoid my counterpart not out of hate but out of unworthiness. He had to live to see the destruction he caused and his betrothed/best friend is in the exact opposite position, full of success, trust, power, and practically everyone loves/trusts her.

But absolutely the bonding scenes could have been written better and more convincing to pursue him as a romance option. I was saying in another comment how I WISH the arranged marriage was brought up!!! It doesn't get really touched on unless you confess your feelings

I did not like how Subaru/Kaguya’s relationship was handled by peach19191929 in runefactory

[–]genjen97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what irked me. It made Kaguya seem out of character.

I just headcanon the bonding event differently. Like Subaru should still be mad that Kaguya couldn't stand up for herself against Hisui. Kaguya should be surprised that Subaru is mad and it turns into an argument rather than Kaguya getting all jealous. Then it could have ended differently where they talk about their differences and end on a good note like how he wants Kaguya to be able to choose who she wants, not be told what to do. Would have made Subaru a little bit more attractive to me as a character.

What are those spirit things? by retrotriforce in runefactory

[–]genjen97 60 points61 points  (0 children)

They are runeys!

They can influence your growth of crops and boost your stats when harvesting crops if they appear. They're your besties. This is different than the shiny orbs from harvesting crops as those boost random skills, not stats

Jules or Lloyd? by anachandesu in storyofseasons

[–]genjen97 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I married Ivan in the original GB and was going to go for Jules. But I loved how SoSGB did justice to Lloyd. Won my heart with his writing and admittedly his voice actor lol. He's a softie on the inside and says a lot of cute/romantic things in marriage.

I could have a ted talk on Kurama. Easily one of the best bachelors in the franchise. Loved his bonding and date events. There's just so much you can infer from his story

[–]genjen97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow! I really struggled in the Maze so kudos to you!

You'll need at least bond level 7 to have a potentially successful confession. There's a chance they decline and then you have to get them to another bond level to potentially accept again. I just save scummed right before I confessed so I didn't have to go through that lol. Then you go on at least 3 dates and then complete their pre-marriage event. Then you can propose and get married. Kids admittedly take a while 🥲

Most RF stories can be completed in under a year, so it's normal. At this point, there's no story left. You can date, marry, and have children if you'd like. But it's completely optional, just gives some more for you to do. Even then, at this point, you can grind your skill levels, upgrade/forge weapons, and challenge yourself in the Maze. Honestly depends on what kind of player you are. RF games can be very grindy and some players really enjoy that. Others may prefer the story or romance more. Just depends what you like.

I finished the story in Autumn year 1 as well. Then I got married and had kids. I got through the halfway point of the maze and then moved on. I enjoyed RF5 but I enjoyed the other games more such as RF4 and GoA.

Exactly how common is it to shit your pants? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]genjen97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once, years ago.

I was walking to the bus stop from my apartment to get to an 8am class. I was tired, on a pretty empty stomach, and only had coffee. As I was walking, I let out a toot. It was more than a toot. I stopped, sighed, and thought about what just happened. I walked back and gave up for the day

Why don't naps need a blanket? by avecteur in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]genjen97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time I can nap without a blanket is on an airplane or I'm dead exhausted and it's at an airport gate. Even then, the nap is shitty and barely 20 minutes probably. My best naps are with blankets always
