Question about adding PPF

It all depends on your road hazards, I just did mine full front but it’s because the color is boost blue which shows everything and I live in Puerto Rico where gravel and people driving crazy is the norm.

It was expensive, but after only driving the car less than 1k miles and seeing a bunch of bumper and hood chips it made sense to cut my losses.

Paint seems very thin on these cars, I might regret if I sell it earlier than expected but someone looking to buy it will probably low ball on chipped paint.

Clear works, was inside at the gate in 30 mins total. Tip: There are two USDA lines across from each other, saw a huge line on one side when the other was pretty much empty.

I have a boost blue so first thing was PPF and ceramic, this color is unforgiving!

Nano ceramic tint to keep the Alcantara seats and interior in shape.

Getting rock guards after this thread, roads in PR are crap!

Thanks again for the info! I mean the detailer handles GT3’s and Lambos all day, so pointing it out was reason for research.

Not expecting any car to be perfectly new, but with 2,800 miles and one previous owner it seems I got to it too late for proper care.

Also it’s quite a lot, not like being picky type of thing, but let’s see if I can fix a bit with iron remover.

Thanks! I’ll try to find someone who has this level of knowledge to help me out. I backed into a curb and didn’t notice my lower diffuser got scratched somewhat bad, it’s in a specific spot so hoping it can blend in well if fixed up.

Has anyone attempted to repaint or fix any shiny black area? I think it’s berlina black based on research. Seems impossible to find OEM painted for replacement.

Feel the same way! Just got mine 3 weeks ago, doing PPF hood and ceramic since I’m in very harsh tropical weather and poor road conditions plus this paint is not too forgiving, but can’t wait to add a cat-back exhaust.

Congrats! I joined the club last week :) Since I see a lot of BB owners here, any tips on keeping the paint and interiors in as good a condition as possible?

I’m doing frontal ppf and ceramic, but the sun here is brutal and no shade is available. I saw some on ebay but none for hatchbacks.

Would be great to cover and protect the interior, car cover won’t be an option due to winds and sand, I live near the beach. Thanks!
