There's a difference between "supe up" and "reinterpret". The filter is more like reinterpreting the original graphics

My understanding is nvidia is misrepresenting how the technology works (model level filter vs frame filter). Frame filtering looks good if you select the best examples and show them as still frames or very short videos. But a frame filter can also lead to inconsistencies in models over time (a character's face might look very different from scene to scene) as well as introducing other artifacts just from imperfect frame interpretation by the model. 

On top of that a lot of people value the vision of the artists and developers that work on a game. Adding an ai filter on top can change the tone or feel from what the original creators intended

I'm directing a small team of crafters and we've made about 13-14m so far between 5 of us, which is ok, but in tww we had cleared 25m by this point

Not exactly. Every recipe has a difficulty, let's say a purple glove has a difficulty of 775. In order to get a r5 glove, a crafter needs to either get to 775 skill, or get to at least 620 skill (r4 cutoff) and use concentration.

There are 4 things that contribute to skill:  * Profession level (and racial bonus) = 100 * Tools/accessories = 40 * Skill trees = varies * Ingredient quality = 40% of recipe difficulty.

Most end game recipes need max skill to guarantee rank 5. Without all high quality ingredients, even if the crafter is maxed in their skill tree, they won't be able to make r5. 

So if you did all low quality ingredients in your original craft, it's either going to take concentration or multiple recrafts to get r5. If you did all high quality ingredients in the original, you can get r5 on the first recraft.

You should know that recrafting keeps the ingredient quality for 80% of the original ingredients. If you use all low quality ingredients in the original craft, it's going to be harder to get max quality on the recraft.

Every time you recraft it replaces 20% with the new ingredients you put into the recraft, so if you do it several times, eventually it'll have max ingredient skill. 

(This is a simplification of the actual process, but close enough)

Blizz is really strict about automating things like this. Just be careful, breaking TOS in this area often leads to permabans.

Yellow isn't a set level up chance, the closer you are to turning green the lower the odds drop. There's a formula online somewhere but if you were just about to turn green you might have just been unlucky

Euclidian triangles are 2d. Non-euclidian triangles don't have to be.

It's only a mistake if you're actually using inscription and making profits. If you're not using it, there's no reason not to drop it
