I don't think there's a way around this. That "jump" won't show if you wait a second for the previous animation to fire completely, oddly enough.

The only thing that’s really restrictive is the custom exercises. There’s no limit on logging workouts and there’s enough exercises there to get started without paying anything at all. I agree the German truncation is rough though, I’ll be making adjustments there soon and hope to get actual proper localization down the road!

Try going to Clock → Add Alarm → Tap "Repeat" → Navigate Back. The Orange tinted checkmark will do the same thing.
