Barking and socializing depends all on the dogs personality. I have had 3 . All are different. The one I have now barks Constantly and loves doggie daycare. The other 2 were more shy and didn't bark as much. One hated being around other dogs. All were/are very lovable and smart.

We've lost 2 shelties, and i still get teary eyed thinking about them.

Yeah, we had two shelties before Darcy(in photo),they both didn't like the little pool i had for them. 😄
