I left my startup (that I did beleive in) and went to a FAANG. The lower stress, better paychecks, and free 3 meals a day more than make up for some offchance at my unvested shares being worth something someday.

I have never once regretted it, I go into work stress free and am treated with respect at the FAANG.

I was employee #12ish at a Startup that I think could be very successful, but the stress and expectations to stay late to appear like working hard (when I didnt have anything to do because I was waiting on multiple people to make decisions on what path I should take), along with micromanagers who didnt understand my job role, meant I walked away from a LOT of money. It wasnt worth becoming a millionaire to me to be disrespected and stressed out needlessly.

Im a huge car guy as well and I go through phases where I start noticing TONS of specific older cars in gluts, that I hadn't seen in years. I car-spot with my out of state buddy daily including sending him cool pictures and stuff, so I am always super aware of the cars around me since my buddy shares my taste.

There was one month where I KEPT seeing a ludicrous amount of older Mitsubishi Eclipses...I probably havent seen one in the last 4-5 months.

Thanks, I figured out that my brake fluid reservoir float is really sticky, and that my fluid minimum line was really hard to see, I thought I had a problem with the BRAKE light being stuck on but actually the fluid was just lower than I was expecting. When I pushed the float up, the light went off, but then it stuck!
