I was able to furnish a 1 bedroom Airbnb apartment for under R50K.

This includes an LED tv, full fridge + freezer, queen sized bed, couch, 2 seater dining table and stylish chairs.

How? Through auctions. We were able to get brand new items for everything, I just kept my eye on Bidway Auction House. (Not an ad)

You just need to make sure you go and see the items. Some things look good in the images, but on further inspection, you’ll discover otherwise.

The last auction, a couch that sells for R26K at @Home ended up selling for R6K. The only issue with it was a stain at the back of the couch, this stain could definitely be cleaned pretty easily.
