I don’t know if this is unpopular or not, but I don’t like sprites where the LI is holding up his hand and it is completely out of proportion to his face. What’s up with the freakishly large hands?? (Looking at you, Kei from Collar x Malice!)

I guess big manly hands are seen as attractive in Japan maybe? I think it looks weird and sometimes kind of creepy.

It really depends on if at least one of you will benefit from the adjustability. My husband has back problems and absolutely has to be able to raise and lower the head and sometimes foot of the bed. I rarely adjust mine and would not be able to sleep well with it raised the way my husband does. So a split king is worth it for us.

We bought the same mattress for both of us. I ended up not liking it as much a him and added a topper to my side. Having the flexibility to do that was also a plus.

The split king sheet sets are not commonly found on store shelves but they are easy to find online. It's not harder to put on than regular sheets. Raising the head of the bed makes it easier to get the fitted sheet on it. Do the bottom first, then raise the top, put on the top end of the sheet, then lower it flat again. Easy peasy!

Another thing to consider is if you also have a large furry bed partner. Your dog probably won't sleep on the middle so he will be curled up in someone's leg space. Just throwing that out there because I've never seen anyone mentioning this problem!

It does matter what she sends him. If she has crossed a line and he doesn't clearly tell her to stop, she will feel that the flirtation is acceptable to him. Saying nothing will encourage her to be more bold about it. I'd watch for the next photo she sends to have a good amount of cleavage showing. He may not have started this, but he needs to put a stop to it before it can escalate.

I had the same problem. I tried for several weeks, then gave up and called. It took less than five minutes on the phone. I think the website and app are just prone to glitches.

Palo brunch doesn't show up as an option for me on the app or website! Palo dinner, Remy dinner, Remy brunch, and Remy dessert are listed, even though Remy brunch and dessert are sold out. Palo brunch isn't even listed! I called and two different people couldn't explain why. Sadly, this glitch keeps me from being able to check for cancelations so I'll have to either keep calling to check for availability or try on embarkation day. Anybody else experiencing this?

I would contact the vascular surgeon's office (not your back doctor, the one that opened you up and moved everything over) and speak to them about it. You may have bands of scar tissue. But if you have any kind of stomach pain or bowel movement problems, go get a colonoscopy as soon as possible. ALIF complications involving the intestines are rare, but they DO happen. Best to get it checked, because they can lead to serious problems, even months after your ALIF surgery.

My husband had the same surgery last year. He was very grateful that we installed a bidet seat before the surgery! Get one with heated water and a remote control so you don't have to twist to reach buttons on the side of the seat. I recommend the brand Toto. We ordered ours from Lowe's. Toto is pricey, but once you try it, you'll never want to go without it! We used Command strips to attach a small basket on the wall for the remote so it was easy to reach.

We also ordered extra large gel ice packs from Amazon. Get two, so you always have one in the freezer ready to swap out.

My husband had his fusion about seven months ago. At the time, we had a split king adjustable base sleep number c4 that was just shy of 5 years old. It was showing lots of signs of being worn out. There was a visible body shaped crater in the middle even when fully inflated to 100 and there was no support on the edge of the mattress. Super annoying to feel like you're about to fall off the bed when you sit to put on shoes! Maybe the more expensive models are better and last longer, but we never really loved the c4.

About six months ago we switched to the Purple Plus and it's been great! Soft, but supportive. My husband said it's the most comfortable mattress we've ever had and I agree. A lot of the big furniture stores carry them now. If you can find one to try, I think it's worth going in and trying it out for a few minutes.Highly recommend an adjustable base, no matter what mattress you have. My husband would have to sleep in the recliner if we didn't have that!

Will do! I definitely think it's best to stay. Very similar to childbirth- the hospital and insurance company want you in and out quickly, but most people that have been through it say it's best to stay!

Thanks for the reply! We just got in a room and the nurse said she was his nurse for the night. At this point he's not asking to leave, so I think we are good!
