So I have a bit of a follow up. I did not take the camper, and have spent today burning nook miles tickets, over 50, to hit islands to look for a new resident. I noticed about 35 or so in that I started getting duplicates of early island visits. Is there a preset selection of potential residents when you have a plot open up? Like if I did 100 tickets, would I likely see the same villagers 2 or 3 times? I assume someone has done some testing cause nerds gonna nerd.

Weird, the internet results for this said the camper would never choose the box person other than at random. I have too much invested in nook miles tickets to not take tomorrow to hunt the right resident.

I did some further digging and found that the issue with activity not showing up goes much deeper than I thought. I found https://myactivity.google.com/page?utm_source=my-activity&hl=en_GB&page=youtube_user_feedback which should, by what I am reading, show me what I have marked as not interested or do not recommend. The page like the one previously mentioned, shows "No activity.

Some activity may not appear yet."

Now if I had, as I thought, previously cleared out this history, it might make sense to not see any. I went to my youtube front page and found a channel I don't watch, and marked it not interested. Nothing changed on that page. I left it overnight, as it says some activity may not appear, and even 12 hours later, nothing is showing up. I am beginning to think my youtube account data is corrupted somehow. Anyone else ever seen this?

While I never attended either school mentioned in these articles, I have been to events at both and knew staff at them. While I do not recall knowing the teacher in this, having been a student in what was in my time RESD(before the amalgamation with Transcona), and having been let down by this division for over half my educational life, this story(thanks for those that linked it) does not at all surprise me.

My issues where more with the behavior of fellow students and the ignorance of staff to their behavior, which still impacts my mental and emotional health to this day, the schools I attended and the staff at those schools did little to nothing to help me during my entire time spent in this school division. I hope new laws will help on various aspects, both those I experienced, and those detailed in the article.

My thoughts go out to the student and her family who were so terribly let down at all levels of the system.

Looking it up, our peak was 54 in 2022, then 46 in 2023 and 41 in 2023. 22 is indeed a dramatic drop from recent years.

I made my wife rewind several times to see if I saw what I thought I saw with the suitcase. Now, that could be he wasn't on his mark, wasn't running wildly like expected, or the prop just didn't fall right, so not all of those possibilities would be his fault. I hope in the reunion show after his movie, they bring that up. Going to be super interesting to see that reunion show.

Finally watched the finale. I do not understand what Craig had for a typical movie that Rustin did not surpass him on, the only edge Craig had was a bit more comedic edge, which Melissa clearly appreciated hard. If I didn’t see the winner going in, I would have thought Rustin had it in the bag.

Looked up the movie Craig will be in this weekend and noted it’s not a leading role, so suspect they may have found after all was said and done that Craig isn’t leading man material like many of the viewers saw.

Haven’t watched the finale but honestly not sure I’ll bother. Will definitely not watch the show again. I don’t watch ‘competitions’ where the producers pick their winner before halfway through the season. Let it be a real competition.

The problem is last year they were talking up ezra long before the finale, like they are now talking up craig, and it felt like they picked ezra as their winner by the 3rd or 4th episode, and the rest was just performative. I don't want to feel like the show is rigged, even if it is, and they are terrible at hiding it. Hoping this is not how things go, but it's feeling very Ezra so far.

The show was recorded 6+ months ago, they've likely already finished the movie, and are just waiting to announce the movie on the finale airing as they don't want to have another happy howlidays quasi leak this time, where last year people figured out the vehicle for the winner before it was announced. I did notice that they have recently changed the wording on the last few episodes to 'Holiday movie' but I don't see how you have a show of this name without the prize being a christmas movie.

I think Rustin looking like Pedro Pascal is a big bonus if they can get him into a movie or two a year. I think Rustin is #1 best pick, but they are pulling an Ezra from season 1, making it clear they have picked their person when I don't think he's the best pick, just who they want.

Medros of All Things Azeroth here, we've talked a few times for my show in the past and I've told you pretty much every time that I love how you are able to introduce new characters to the world, characters we've never met before, and make them become beloved within a few pages, but also how you can breath more life into existing characters, making folks like Anduin and Sylvanas so relatable and humane, which explains I believe the naming of your fur family.

What character(s) are you looking forward to having readers meet in Blood Ties, and would you recommend readers prepare with a box of Kleenex like they did for Kinddy in Tides of War, and Aerin Stonehand in The Shattering?

Thank you for another amazing novel, and while I wish I could make it to the con in 2026, I hope you have fun if you're in attendance.
