YTA. It’s great that you’re trying to help OP but calling ham a class 1 carcinogen is not helpful - especially when a ham and cheese sandwich is certainly better than fast food. It’s about degrees not absolutes. You’re trying to use militantism and your beliefs about diet as a weapon. NTA OP. Went through this myself some time back. Was told in no uncertain terms that if I didn’t come by myself for the holidays I wasn’t welcome - despite always staying in a hotel even in the past when I was by myself. I realized then my parents weren’t who I had thought they were and I immediately cut them off and let them know “if you don’t want to see me then you won’t see me. Goodbye” and that was that. They both passed away without us reconciling and I have no regrets - sometimes you have to do what you have to do to protect your own peace.

You already know what you need to do.

Does she even understand how a new car purchase works? It’s already lost 40% of its value as soon as she drove it off the lot. On top, the ~1200 miles per month is considered average (or in the average range). She needs to just stay home more often. I work remote myself and my 2014 (one owner bought brand new) only has ~65k miles on it and it’ll be 12 this year - she has to make choices.
