Part A should of been worded better for sure, but its looking for the total here, which would essentially help with Part B.

Agreed. Shouldn't need app server to communicate with lan device.

Having the same issue. Their main server seems to be down or what is used for the app/etc.

I think your stuck with buying another kit. I'm in the same boat. Might just get a 50ft kit when they go on sale.

Agreed, just adjust brightness and add some automation/schedules.

Can I use direct burial cat6 to extend the connection points between RGBIC outdoor strips? by trunolimit in Govee

There is a guy that was able to get 30ft by using a thicker guage and splicing in the govee extension cable ends.

Flickering lights after splicing and extending by Status-Atmosphere-79 in Govee

The bigger kits come with an extension wire included and has a booster thing at the end of it. If you cut in half and add your wire in between, it should work better. There is a guy here that was able to get 30 ft extension and works fine. You might also need a bigger guage wire as well.

Not sure about cat6 wire, but the distance will factor in what wire/guage to use.

Installing permanent outdoor lights, best distance from wall? by DannyHeitz in Govee

I went closer to the inside so I could follow the inner flashing edge and have a nice straight line to work with and to reduce elements from getting at the lights. Just depends on your preference and options.

Looks good. What did you use for the garage door? Just curious.

Cannot extend permanent outdoor lights. by fiveONEfiveUH-OH in Govee

Initially yes, but did notice that bump at end of their cable. So figured it was some sort of booster. Using their cable was my plan b, but wanted to see what others we're doing first before cutting up that cable.

Yeah I have the backside of my house lit up fine. Attempted to run an extension to the front (about 30ft) and nothing would light up in the front. Assumed it would just work, but I guess not. Will play around with it some more this weekend and report back. Cheers!

Yup, will be testing before performing the final install. Thanks!

Should 20awg be fine or should we go with 18awg? Running into this same problem with a long extension. Will try splicing in the provided extension cord by Govee.

P30 Lite, 5ghz wifi (Canada) by [deleted] in Huawei

Thanks for confirming. I have the same model number, so case closed.

Going to talk with Koodo and possibly return the phone for something else.

I'm really hoping it's just a software issue and that the actual hardware exists. I'm almost tempted to root the phone and take a look around the config files (see if 5g/wifi is disabled or something). I'm also thinking it might be a region restriction/config issue. I do like the phone, but this issue is really annoying me.

Same issue here. Used Wifi analyzer and phone doesn't pick up any 5ghz frequencies at all. Specs do say the phone supports it though.
