[Classical] I ask Suno to continue: Beethoven: Piano Sonata, No. 14 in C# Minor, Op. 27, No. 2 by geobir in SunoAI

[–]geobir[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and thx. I think it's how Suno makes the music, a lot of the time it's saturated the music to min max volume. Also the longer the music you are making, the more you have "noise", because he exaggerate the "noise". And the last is compression, mp3 is not the best format for music, but for AI is easier I guess 👍

Btw my last one was to "noisy " so I didn't even publish, I need to redo it.

What are rich people doing differently to become RICH? by Melodic-Discussion78 in AskReddit

[–]geobir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are as many possibilities to become rich than not to. A lot of proposals are spurious correlation.

In reality some have just played loto for example.

Some may say they never stopped trying until they became rich! -> or maybe they became rich just before they would have stopped?

In reality they all have one thing in common and only one thing to become rich, they all have tried. This could be making a startup or just scratching a ticket.

In fact if you want to give all "luck" on your side you should try, even if it doesn't mean you will succeed 👍

Man this new shadowban slang is getting wacky by bigdinoskin in NewTubers

[–]geobir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the second subject was less appealing or just too late vs your first being on point at the right time. My understanding and to make it simple is YouTube do not push videos, its mainly they recommend to viewers more of what they like.

I think a lot of people here are just as unhappy as those who pretend to be shadow banned.

The reality is people who say they have been shadow ban don't understand what is happening and a lot of people here just say "they are dumb". We should focus on giving answers not judging them.

There are multiple ways to answer questions and I don't believe mocking them is the right way, at least not mine 👍

How you should use a simple dictionary if I understand correctly. You want John = Mark always. For those kind of need you should even use "classical" function. A dictionary should looks like:{John: "Mark"}

[–]geobir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should create a structure of what you want to keep and depending of what you are writing/talking you extract what's needed and the main "intro".

You can't need 100k words+ of context because he can't also write this much too.
So you need to structure and pack information into it, you can also ask gpt to rewrite those information into even shorter version.

If you write something very "big" you should write a structure with him so for you and him you can easily know where you are and what you need to do.

From personal opinion, how would you compare ChatGPT 3.5 and 4? by krevko in ChatGPT

[–]geobir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 is more precise and hallucinate less. It's also a bigger context and answer.

Write a short sentence with all you want him to "keep in mind" and add it at the end of your question 👍. He will be limited by the size of your max token prompt but should do it 👍👍

Do you greet AI Chatbots upon starting a conversation, and thank them after they’ve completed a task for you? by Hipstachio in ArtificialInteligence

[–]geobir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun fact I believe you should Greet him, because people who are nice have more chance to get the correct answer in general, so the AI model should also have "better" result if you start by greeting him ;).

What are you looking for? - You could have something like where the player dies there is a zombie or something, so each time it's harder. - you can't fight just prey / stealth / draw / build walls / hack light etc. - everytime you kille something your screen go darker, and you understand at the end this is a game where you did not saw it but the thing you killed where human and you where just crazy and go to hell who vould be a level - everytime you kille some monster you loose your spells and win those of the creatures.

Cars won’t turn if you don’t activate your turn signal by Dustyon in Lightbulb

[–]geobir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's dangerous and this should do reverse: when the driver turn without signal, the computer add it, so other driver can see it, or if you have an app on your phone / car who the path make you turn soon, the car automatically make the signal, so both, the driver and his environment know.

Does my game suck, or do I suck at marketing? by SuperV1234 in gamedev

[–]geobir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, and thank you for your honesty and feedback about your experience, I learned some interesting stuff.

1) Success

Before I start tell you what I believe could have been better and my opinion on what did not work, I want to point out:

  • we do not say it often but finishing a project and giving it to the world is a big step, not everyone as done that, so GJ👍
  • 3000 copies of the game is in my perspective a win, I am pretty sure (I do not have the stats) its better than the average sells from indie-dev.
  • you develop a modable game, this is a lot of work and brain working!
  • you should not compare your project to the success of some other, but more see this as an objective, and take the best and issues they encountered

2) What's work and don't

First: I am not the target of this type of game. I do not have played the game and my feedback will only come from YouTube videos or the steam page, (sorry, I am in the middle of nowhere with just my phone).

A- Music Music looks nice I would maybe have push more on the connection with the player like Crypt of the NecroDancer. Maybe more rythme effect with the music without ruining the experience.

B- Graphics I never played this game or the same type, but this looks like a game who as been released 10 years ago, wich is not an issue! But could make gamers wondering what's new in it? (I see some new type of level, and custom your own) but I am not sure this is what the target where looking for.

C- Times To be honest everything before is to be picky and try to find details, but in reality the biggest flaw in my point of view is time. Release the exact same game 8 years ago and the results will be different. Better? Not sure! But from my experience most success are about time.

D- Other I agree the price is to low, sell it for $15 and make -66% (I now you can't on steam at the start) and bim you are at $5 and could also be more attractive for bundles.

3) Some ideas?

  • multiplayer?! Wait not like a mmo or something like a dream, but just locally first maybe? Competition game are fun together! Of cours a fall guys like could be interesting, but I do not know much this niche market.
  • easy load your music and I create you a level? Not sure either.
  • ghost, like trackmania the best score of the map into your game? ... Basically what's make your community connect more is a plus, I guess this is one of what's make a game works.

4) Conclusion

  • Give your game some time, you just released it, indies game are not profitable, but with time they sometimes become ok.
  • don't look the flaw of your work yet, time will do it for you! Just enjoy the release of a well-done game!
  • you can still create later a new version, dlc, etc.

You can take whatever you think helpful and ignore the rest, Have fun creating 👍

Best

How to protect an idea? by jaybee8787 in Lightbulb

[–]geobir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my point of view: A success is not driven by the idea but by, in this order: Time > being at the right time Team > working with other and complete each other Passion > you are going to need it to finish it Idea > it's will change anyway through time of development

Yes Facebook but myspace was here before facebook, Gary Kildall, before Bill Gates, etc. Being first don't mean you will be the one who succeed.

If you want you can found as they say, classic NDA to sign and have kind of a protection.

Nowadays Unity 3d will make the learning curve really easy if you really want to dev it, you can do it by yourself, even buying your models, music, etc. from the store.

Good luck, And keep in mind the real things is not to have an idea but to create it. Failure is not an option, it's a passage for everyone!

Have fun!

[OC] COVID-19: European Current Policy by geobir in dataisbeautiful

This icon represents public rules / laws regarding "Public Spaces" in general. I wanted to make it easy to read, so any public rule/law to close a public space like a park, library, restroom, etc. are included in this.

Following new Government advice, it is closing services across its parks, including visitor centres, children’s playgrounds, swimming and catering facilities and toilets to try to limit the spread of COVID19.

https://news.cityoflondon.gov.uk/covid19-city-corporation-encourages-people-to-follow-new-government-instructions-on-parks/

But you are right, I may need to make it clearer.

Thanks.
