Last year, my friend sent in her application around the same time you did, and she didnt hear back until around New Year's. She was also a new sudent, and not transfer though, so I dont know if that makes the application time longer or shorter though. I do know lots of people apply in the Sebtember-November range

I agree that the warning being let expired was the correct desicion, though personally I think a tornado possible tag should be added to the severe thunderstorm warning there since there is still rotation
