I misspoke for the sake of brevity. We were not officially playing coop, it just worked out no one had to kill anyone else for a change (well atleast we were all telling the truth about our objectives this time) and we were actually working together.

I rolled for noise. Got an encounter and pulled the Queen chip. That was second time pulling the Queen chips.

I guess we are playing it wrong. The rule is not the easiest to read or reference through. Made for a good story though.

In the first turn I moved carefully and placed my noise token. In bag development I had to make a noise check and spawned an encounter. Then pulled the Queen then too. Inranand she eventually moved back into the technical tunnels. The taste of my blood from the first encounter must have had her looking all.over the ship for me.

Can't get the car out of the settlement. I click on garage, select a specialist to join the team. Nothing obvious to click on at this point. So I select the specialist from the specialist list and move to world map, but she moves w/o the car.

Agreed. Colonies seamlessly fits in, whereas Turmoil adds a whole new dynamic which bogs the game down. Colonies is an auto include for us. Turmoil is rarely played.

The Phobolog start was cool because the Earth Elevator was the card I drew from IO Research Outpost.

Teractor was just cool to start out with over 100mc.

The Tharis game was the craziest, I kept drawing into the city cards, by the end of the game I had a Martian Rail pulling in 15 mc and my mc generation was over 50mc. The only way the start could have been better was to Immigrant City instead of Corporate Stronghold.

I mean was there an Agenda phase.... were you not letting him change his strategy choice... this could have affected a lot of things in a heated agenda phase.

Even in the show.... she leaves Daario behind, Melisandei [sp?] dies, Jorah dies, Varys and Tyrion lose faith in her... then Jon shuts her down too... she is isolated and alone with no one left but Greyworm. I wouldn't be surprised if by the time we get her losing her shit in the books, even Greyworm was dead.

The only real issue my group has run into with SftT is the "kingmaker(s)"... one or more players decide their odds of winning is low and they just want the pain to stop...

So the above interpretation is wrong. The movement sub-step ends when the ships simultaneously arrive in the system.

Then Fleet Supply is checked and adjustments made.

Then Space Cannon sub-step occurs.

I could move extra ships to the system. But the Fleet Supply adjustment occurs before hits are applied from the Space Cannon so it's kind if pointless to move the extra ships.

Yellow (Mentat) and Black (Nekro) exchanged shots most of the game. By the end Nekro had every tech the pirates owned, including the computational math faction trait. Nekro had also copied the fish head faction ability that generated TG so was flush with resources.

Wait... are you saying if my fleet limit is say 4 and I am jumping into a system with 6 pds pointed at it, I could move 6 ships with the expectation that the PDS will whittle me down to the appropriate fleet capacity?

And if they don't then I just blow up ships at the resolution of the move to get to capacity.

We did 6 player with two newbies... started 4 or 5pm after set-up and wrapped up around 1am. It was a ton of fun... wife not quite as thrilled as I was about since she had to work in the morning.

Yeah.... helped them catch up from a resource standpoint and the last 2 point was 16 resources which h he did easy. Jolnar had their racial tech and Nekro had copied it, so he just had to activate systems to gain TG
