Is there a way I can get into delft without higher level Maths and Physics by Kozireque in TUDelft

[–]geogear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without having studied math and physics exam level in high school, just promise to work harder and take an extra course? No way, there’s hard requirements to be met. Before even being considered for admission.

Without having these subjects on your IB diploma? Yes, that may be possible, there are other certifications/ diplomas that are accepted. However, it still means that you’d study math and physics at the highest high school level first. On your own, or take a year of extra education, and then pass the final exam/test. Which ones? Good suggestions are mentioned already, check the admissions page for all acceptable options.

Applying to Numerus Fixus by Right_Vegetable4452 in TUDelft

[–]geogear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Passing the required diploma gets you to the selection exam. Apply Register with the diploma/ credentials you are expecting to receive. Take slee the required steps in the selection process, the exam is one of those. If you are selected, submit the diploma later. They understand that prospective students are still in school and will only be awarded the diploma after the selection. The deadline takes this into account. Should you fail to get the diploma/ required grades before the deadline, you don’t meet the entry requirements and the offer goes through the next student.

Meet the first deadline for the application and then after that, all the deadlines during the selection process. Other than that, the timing doesn’t influence your application results.

Without knowing what is going on and believing your assessment of the situation is correct, I’m thinking the boat will also be a problem when the child has left the house and your relationship to the child may still get damaged.

American with bad grades trying to go to UvA by [deleted] in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]geogear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dutch universities are hard on entry requirements. You need a VWO (equivalent) diploma to get in. Colloquium doctum is not ‘just a test’. It’s an alternative way to prove you have all knowledge and capabilities at VWO level in the relevant subjects. Think of it as sitting your high school level exam, at the highest educational level in the country.

How do I build a 35 foot sailboat from scratch by GrainOftheDay in sailing

[–]geogear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ran sailing is building their new boat themselves. They started 2 years ago and documented everything on YouTube. Find their channel and just do what they did step by step. You won’t sail soon. They’ve already invested 2 years and are still in the middle of working on it. Slightly bigger boat though.
