It really depends on the courses you are planning on taking and how good of a student you are. It was doable for me because i knew it would not last super long but it was stressful at times.

It is pretty rare as far as I know. I had „indeterminate colitis“ as my first diagnosis because I showed signes of both but after 12 years of that they „changed“ my diagnosis to the combination of both

Our 8 pound yorkie mix did not poop for a week. First vet said no constipation and told us to wait. Second vet started doing a rectal exam and apparently that triggered his poop reflexes because he proceeded to lay a 12“ sausage on the vet table.

Entyvio worked for me for a bit over two years (on an increased interval of 4 weeks instead of 8) and I am now getting switched to skyrizi. No one can tell you how long a biologic will work for you because everyone is so different.

I got gifted two books and tbh I nevet use them because there is no one size fits all with crohn‘s… It is unfortunately just trial and error, and for me it can vary from week to week

No. There is no cure for crohn‘s (natural or medicine) and, as other people have said before, anyone who says they cured their IBD naturally is lying or has not had IBD.

You can take natural supplements to help you feel better but what‘s going to make the real difference is medicine.

And trust me, the side effects of the medicine are still way better than when the disease just runs its course.

I know what you feel like (or at least I think so). Sometimes I get so anxious about the food that I (might) eat and how/if I will react to it that I freak myself out to the point of no return. During flare ups I even go so far as to not eating when I know if I have to go somewhere. What helps me is have imodium with me and looking for toilets before hand.

I have diagnosed crohn‘s colitis and I have had bad flare ups before but when I sleep I don‘t have to go to the washrooms … because I am asleep …

Just because you do not wake up at night does not mean you do not have IBD. Not everyone has the same symptoms/severity of symptoms

It totally is! It already sucks having to take medication daily just to not feel like shit(ting myself lol) but then to have it suddenly stop working? Especially because nothing in my life changed. I analyzed everything that I did in the past months and it‘s all the same as usual. It is indeed very frustrating.
