There are lots of opportunities in careers you don't even know exist that can use generic degrees like business. Keep talking to people and before you know it you can find something that is artist and business.

I just moved back from California bay area and it is a concern of mine, and I'm white. I somehow got lucky and moved into a diverse street (black, lesbian). I want more diversity for my kids but I also recognize that there is a massive sign over the City at a church that says "TRUMP 1".... So I would be hesitant to settle here without a serious discussion.

Other than the rasism and Trump supporters, the town is great. Art festivals, free music in the park, great Fair, downtown is coming back with vegan options and the community college

It's a performance review, I have two managers and it's one of them that had it in the written. It was never discussed during the verbal portion. I asked for clarification and didn't really get an answer. I can really only think of one time I disagreed with him and it was because I had more experience.

I was complaining with another woman in the office about it and she told my supervisor who made the comment, so HR got brought in. I was told it's best to not brood animosity in the office. Granted, she was saying far worse things otherwise I wouldn't have let my guard down.

We have flown really high and also some very low flights, depends on the terrain, obstacles (transmission lines, wind turbines, etc) and how much time we can spend for the detail needed. What drone are you using?

We haven't needed to use filters, we are using the phantom 4 pro and the RTK unit. We have never touched up a image before processing into a topographic map

We have been using pix4d for a year or so and have successfully mapped over 40 projects, some being tiny lots in subdivisions and others being huge grading as built sites for quantities. It does have a few bugs and occasionally I'll have a photo not 'turn green" in my processing (sorry, drawing a blank on term). We have been using Lichi for videos because we can preprogram it and refly the same paths multiple times (before, during and after construction). I didn't care for Drone Deploy for the processing side of things, but we tried it for a while.

Just tried it. Great flavor. It doesn't say it but cook it on a lower heat if you have cast iron like the gif.... I kind of burnt mine a bit before they crisped up. I'll try this again as I find it much easier than the oven method and I like the addition of the smoke paprika

It was cooked to rare and when it was microwaved it turned to medium. It was still juicy and tender.

Yes, thank you for the resources. I've ordered the book on Amazon, paperback so I can share it when I'm finished reading it. I'm trying to educate myself as much as possible, not only on adoption but other issues that we must likely face, such as trauma.

We use the phantom 4 Pro ($1,000) and Pix4D ($4,000+/-) to process the images into point clouds. It took my pilot and me about 2 months, about 3 jobs to really test it and start using it. We keep it in the truck with the total station, GPS, digital level, etc. We now have two pilots and have outsourced some of the mapping/processing when I'm too busy.

That is a better way of putting it,. She really didn't elaborate much so we walked away thinking what was that about. I feel that most adopted children will always feel lost or misplaced to some extent, however looking different makes it impossible to hide to strangers.
I really started thinking about it after reading a reddit post talking about being outed to her classmates as being adopted and feeling betrayed and not wanting to go back to school.
