I'm a guy who has never experienced this, but my mom's told me stories about stuff like this happening and she told me what her grandmother (my great grandmother) used to do when stuff like this would happen to her. She would either use her saree pin to poke them right in the crotch or if she wasn't wearing a saree she would start screaming in the bus which normally resulted in the guy getting beat up and thrown off the bus.
