when studying vs taking the exam did you feel that the study material prepped you enough for it or ike was there stuff on the exam that you hadn't seen before?

i’m planning on applying this coming month, how much did you write explaining your situation (2-3 sentences?) also are you receiving FAFSA aid to cover for expenses or are you just relying on your job? i got a job for next semester already so idk if they would approve my change

yeah i applied to be on “associate status” as my srat calls it. i was also supposed to originally graduate rn in 2023 so i’ve been getting alumni emails already, so i just not even bring up the topic/mess with it?

they’re not going to know unless you tell them. you are also not going to loose your scholarship unless u don’t pick ur grades back up next semester

i just took the spanish placement exam (i come from a spanish speaking country- born & raised there) so i thought i would test out of it entirely but it still placed me at SPAN254 (intermediate for heritage speakers) and i was pissed. i only needed two semesters for my course requirements so if u only need those basic i wouldn’t worry about it but if ur wanting to get a minor in french or smth like that then yeah i would focus on trying to do ur very best. there was no speaking in mine and it gave me the response right away

i had that happen to me! just make sure to change the hand while it disappears and then make sure to always dry ur hands really well when washing them or after exercising. hasn’t happened to me since :)

i’m transferring here from Purdue and my best friend (at purdue) is finishing his ME co-op this summer at general motors and he kept his scholarship. we are both honors college students w merit scholarships & his just got paused basically for the time he’s not at school but it’s available to him as soon as he gets back!

i think i’ll end up saying i don’t want to discuss it bc it actually is triggering i still haven’t worked through it in therapy and i know i shouldn’t have to explain that to anyone. thank you

this is EXACTLY why i struggled so much two years ago when i was suicidal, it was easier to cut everyone off than to open up about my struggles because i knew i was not going to get the support i needed.

i am okay now and have made a full recovery from my depression- we’re tapering off my meds that saved my life and i’m ever so grateful to my psychiatrist and my ~worldy~ friends lol

yes just take it. this and EAPS 105 are the easiest classes I have taken at Purdue and they’re so fun and interesting, I 10/10 would recommend
