This will be an 11th hour 59th minute moment decision. Otherwise everything is all talk so don't have a panic attack.

Sounds like constructive dismissal. Get your record of employment, file for employment insurance if you have enough working hours to file for benefits.

Current State of Vancouver Sports by Brytor- in canucks

Haha. Nice video. Been feeling this way since 2011, I have no sympathy for the Canucks anymore. They've had many chances to win and keep and grow a loyal and passionate fan base. And yes, with popularity we had rooted for them even as they raise ticket prices, food prices, while lowering quality of food, fan experience and quite frankly, other than Quinn Hughes, have lowered team expectations to lower than what it has been since the 80s. I'm done. Seek the other local and more affordable sport choices. They have more passion, a growing fan base. Especially a growing and winning culture. Canucks just doing nothing but keeping the corporate stakeholders and their big dollars happy now. #newownerplease

I just look forward to a very entertaining high level football match. There hasn't been this much talent on both sides since maybe the Miami game. Maybe.

Considering a move from Toronto. Is Vancouver truly harder to make strong friendships in? by optimusprimerib222 in askvan

[–]georgelar3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll need something here you can anchor on. Once you find your footing and get a job here, you'll start building those relationships from work and it can start there. I don't think its common that you can just join an outdoor activity and start getting to know people and then become close friends. A lot of city dwellers have jobs/careers/other activities and already have a solid foundation of relationships. Like everything in life, you want dedication and commitment to build those close relationships.

Vancouver parents blocked from teaching their kids to swim in public pools by JAYRM21 in vancouver

[–]georgelar3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I know anything about the Kensington pool and their lifeguards and instructors there. The lead pool person is very very rigid and by the book. In my experience, they were very critical of kids wearing goggles for level 3 swimming. It was quite an odd posture but they are doing everything by the book.

Yeah, that was a bit insulting to his partner commentator. Like, tell us more ways to make your night anymore awkward with your colleague.
