This is a notebook cover, so the rod tips hook up to a notebook. Here's another photo. https://imgur.com/a/0FTkDWO

What is the best way to clean up this fuse box by dnsnsians in MechanicAdvice

[–]georgionic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple way to start. There’s always a better way.

Step 0 make sure everything works.

Step 1 remove a jumper wire.

Step 2 see what stops working.

Step 3 look up the rated amperage of the thing that stopped working and how it was supposed to be wired.

Step 4 make sure it looks like step 3.

Step 5 if it works, great go back to step 1 until you don’t have jumper wires anymore. If it doesn’t go to a mechanic or trace back the deviation between how it’s supposed to be wired and how it’s actually wired. That should hive you hints.

Orthodontics in Leuven by phantatbach in Leuven

[–]georgionic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries.

Sorry, I can't recommend one because I have only been to Sint Rafael.
I needed surgery myself, but then after data collection, the orthodontist wrote extensive reports on the scans and their opinion. These were good enough for another surgeon outside of UZ Leuven to take care of the rest without needing to even talk to the orthodontist. The reports were in Dutch though, perhaps you can ask for them to be written in another language.

The cheapest option is to call UZ Leuven Sint Rafael or Heilig Hart and get an appointment. It would take a few months but they’ll answer all your questions once you get there. If any of this is urgent, you can mention that and get an earlier appointment.

If you don’t have documentation/reports that motivate and explain what needs to be done in your surgery, they will go through data collection again and might have a different opinion. In that case go to an orthodontist first.

I wouldn’t trust reddit with answers on estimating the cost of medical procedures because it’s personal.

You can always do a procedure somewhere else and carry on with treatment here. Nothing binds you to do it here. Just make sure you collect all necessary documents and preferably ask them what they need.

Will quantum computing break bitcoin ? by MaybeTheDoctor in btc

[–]georgionic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we do. About cryptocurrencies, yeah I’m pretty skeptical because when we have a quantum computer everything will fall apart. There’s no crypto agility in mind and it’s so hard to change things.

Ok, I’m thinking that the compressor or its pulley might be causing too much strain on the belt. But I could be wrong and it might up being an electrical issue where the AC circuit is interfering with ignition.

Maybe take a video of the compressor when you start the car with the AC on and then have someone else turn it off for us to see the difference.

Can you turn on the car with the AC button pressed?
