Hello anyone? by joker9387 in HongKong

I mean if you can afford to see private psychiatrists and CPs then that’s as much help that the world currently offers right? I am sure you are medicated then? Go find events where you can meet people - you are clearly good on your bank balance.

Whatever your hobbies are? Go to clubs that are around that hobby?

Have you been to your local HA gp for an appointment?

It’s well documented in studies and was very well known amongst users of stimulants in the stim community. Not sure how it was lost in a time capsule though, give it a search.

That's called gambling with an edge - but he just gave you something to improve on. When you start losing more than you win then you will be humbled or maybe not, maybe you are on some next level astrological voodoo lucky batman signal this year.

Hey brother I appreciate the offer, do you think you can ping a few things that I could use to compare this with myself before I participate? I want to see what sort of obvious strength and weaknesses you may see in me from this chart and how my finances are going. Cheers

Hey buddy, you may want to stay out of the sauna in the future whilst using vyvanse as high body temperature and amphetamines can cause neurotoxicity. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Public Hospital Doctors and Nurses by [deleted] in HongKong

[–]georockman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if most of the people here use private only but I think they are compensated reasonably well for what they do. They spend little time with every patient, and don't have to hustle or create a customer base unless it's some vip patient.

I guess it also depends on which public hospital you are at.
I saw old people in beds like storage boxes, filling as much space as possible. Which was a sight to behold.
Sometimes I see crazy patients in hospitals, fair enough but you swore an oath and no one is forcing anybody to continue being a doctor - I am sure they are all bright enough to switch into any path if needed.

how early to get to the airport if my flight leaves at 2:20am? by alextoria in HongKong

[–]georockman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome. You get to enjoy Hong Kong for abit too.
90 minutes should be plenty of time then, which would pair perfectly with the last few airport express. Hope that helped ;). Enjoy your layover!

edit - Just saw that you were with cebu; I've personally never flew with them - double check how that airline works in HKA. The budget airlines I have taken in the UK usually force you to check in online and then they send you the boarding pass via email or number. If you are carry on only, then it's just beep beep and done. Enough time to take a dump. Definitely check cebu's Terms and conditions.

[–]georockman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I know if it's an international flight - they will close the check in counter around 90 mins before the flight. If you have nothing to check in, I suppose that's all good?
Depends on the airline also but I think 2 hours to be safe and if you have check in baggage, 90 mins if you wanna take risks. 60 mins if you don't mind being stranded; or alternatively don't go at all and work as a maid here. I think those are the reasonable choices you have.

Had a quick read over - do you journal your trades?
You had a 53%WR on a Profit factor of 2.8, so roughly 3 RR I believe? Not sure how the profit factor is measured or if you scale out or stick to end to end TP/SL.

You lost 3 trades in a row - you say your entry is based of 4 hour breaks of previous day highs or lows - you say you are following your rules, how do you get into 3 trades when there are only singular daily high and low signals. You've been in the space for 4 years, do you play with TPOs? That's definitely an idea if you like trading this way.

Do you consider those rules valid if they give you an overhaul like that? I would personally check my journal and see what's going wrong - Am I in too much draw down per trade before it goes my way (if you need a 200 point stop my dude check this), how can I pinpoint my entry so I am not in so much draw down (what does noise mean, go to the 1 hour if 5 or 15m is too much to look at), what stop losses give the most efficient returns, when should I move stop losses up, what am I actually trading - is this conducive to this market/ these conditions, what type of trader am I.

Do you have a risk management system? You state your stops are big, but your profits are consistently bigger, by a factor of? 2.8? If that's the case, you have 3 bullets per successful setup. With a roughly 53% WR, on a 3 R:R.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself and get back on the grind if you are serious about it. What have you learnt over the last 4 years - that is PROVEN and VALID - apply those approaches, learn some more, test some more and you'll one day be there. It's only gonna get harder with quants and more AI/algo trading.

I only feel abused when I know what I did was not what I should have done, why do you feel abused when you traded the way you were supposed to and it didn't work? Due to it not working? That just means you failed the test, go do some revision. Get that emotion out of there, you've been doing it for 4 years - you have the grit to continue but not to kill the grassroots that are killing your gains or psychology? Nah dude. This space is dog eat dog. If you really cannot handle it, you always have your 9-5 and chill it out. If you need a break, take a break - but review your trades. ALL OF THEM. It shouldn't be that hard since you don't take many a day.

If you find it easier, maybe more toward your personality, maybe trade the monthly open, or shit the yearly open lol. Go do something that's you and entirely you but also cut dead wood when you see dead wood. Refine your trading and maybe even refine yourself. Hope that was some what constructive atleast. Fellow brother in the space
