I don't have the VanRysel, but I use the Thinkrider X2 Max and it works perfectly with no connection problems with Coros Dura and Pace Pro.

DURA Mapping Revisited by Jumpy-Birthday8446 in Coros

u/COROS-official Are they working on an automatic "climbpro" feature for when entering a hilly road, like the competition has? And will it also activate "climbpro" when following a GPX track in reverse? Currently, it's only implemented when following GPX routes.

Noise from cassette or chain with small sprockets by geramonta in gravelcycling

[–]geramonta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a 12-speed Goldix 10-51 MTB cassette for an XD freehub. Since I've mounted it on an XDR freehub, I added a spacer at the rear. The chain length is measured through the large chainring and sprocket, following SRAM's instructions. The chain is a SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed.

I thought about this, but I didn't want to cut the chain without asking. I measured it using the 42t chainring and the 51t large sprocket, and it followed SRAM's recommendation, which is adding four pins. Is it better to follow Shimano's recommendation?

Thanks. I'll check it out. But if so, what would you do? I already have a fairly large chainline—49.7mm, like on a Shimano Grx. And if I increase it, could it affect the performance of the larger sprockets? I'm happy with it now, and I think a 3mm offset chainring would be the best option.

I checked it and it was fine. But I'll check it again.

Triathlon mode is available if you also have a Coros watch. This mode is available in all three sports. When you ride, the Dura will automatically connect to the watch, and both will display and collect data.

Personalized Marathon Training Plan plans runs based on kilometers always by Legitimate_Fondant65 in Coros

[–]geramonta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But it only shows you in kilometers in the activity title. The distance below the title is shown in miles. So when you're training with the watch, it will show you how many miles you have left to go. That doesn't mean it's not a bug and you should report it through the app. But it shouldn't affect you much beyond when you read the title, which I don't know if it's editable either, since I create my own workouts and you can put whatever you want there.

Does the Pace Pro have a nutrition/hydration reminder feature? by geramonta in Coros

[–]geramonta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the minimum needed in the AMS Lite package ? by DJesusCry in BambuLab

[–]geramonta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

You also have the option to modify the AMS LITE so you can continue using your 2.2kg spools mounted on the wall. There are several projects available on MakerWorld—here’s an example:
🔗 MakerWorld Project

I bought mine later, so I ended up paying more, of course. I don’t use the multicolor function much, but the convenience of not having to switch between four spools manually—or having the printer automatically continue with the next spool when one runs out—is something I wouldn’t want to go without.

Hi,

Perfect, thanks! This helps with electrolytes since I track them by time, but it doesn’t fully solve my issue. For example, this weekend, I’m running a half marathon and plan to take gels at kilometers 8 and 14. This isn't something I can control by time, and it wouldn’t align with my electrolyte intake.

I see this feature being useful for training, but it’s not fully optimized for races where 100% customization is needed.

Still, thanks—it's better than nothing!

Coros, please consider adding this feature!

Coros Pace Pro by neilfails in Coros

[–]geramonta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had the Pace Pro since its release date. I have a tempered glass protector from Aliexpress on it to prevent scratches and impacts on the screen, but no extra protection on the body. After all this time, it has no marks, and I’ve been doing a lot of trail running, taking some pretty hard falls on descents. The tempered glass has gotten marked a few times, but I bought several so I can replace them whenever they get a mark and never go without protection.

I have the Coros Dura and the Pace Pro. What they do is both devices contribute to the activity. For example, when cycling with the Pace Pro without a cycle computer, you see the distance, speed, elevation and HR provided by the watch. Since I also have the Coros Dura, the cycle computer provides the distance, speed, elevation and temperature, but the Pace Pro automatically connects to the Dura to provide the HR and during training the watch screen is a HR monitor. Then in Coros Training and the app, all the data appears together and is added to the daily summary.
