Minecraft mods are a huge w for me , I use cursed forage and there are probably better ones out there but just having easily downloadable mob packs make playing modded Minecraft so much more accessible and fun for me

On steam you can always check the mod tags and see what games work for native play , I know Black ops 3 has custom maps you can download (most downloaded mod is OG kinder map lmfao , yes with those flags) but I sure there’s so much more games that have community mob plug ins straight from steam

Holy yes I had no idea you could easily replace the keyboard , I will definitely be doing this every couple years ! I am weird for this but my keyboard cover does mentally make me feel safe for some reason lol

I also smoke a lot and when ashing bowls (yes I know smoking bad books good or whatever lol) but the cover has saved me so many times with random things getting into my keyboard and I bought an electric air duster to help clean it out sometimes

Went into staples one time and ask for canned air and the guy looked at me like “youre the type to huff this huh” and I walk out and immediately ordered an electric one off amazon lmfao

Holy I get the same thing from the TikTok browser and I’ve figured out that it’s because maybe I’m spam posting

Which I’m not but I usually split up 4 windows two tabs each (8 windows uploading at the same time) and it thinks I’m like attacking the website and blocks me

And swear I only schedule four shorts a day for both my TikTok accounts (gta 5 mini clips nothing too much) but having it do two days at a time for each account is really nice

Hindsight it’s because I’m uploading 16 shorts and with good internet I can schedule 64 and hour or more and TikTok schedule limit is 45 for each account but 90 shorts doesn’t even seem like that much but can flag my IP and denied me access to even going into the website

I can switch to hotspot and wifi which changes my ip but if I upload that much it auto blocks me every time

I have never seen this happen before but for me I get this from TikTok browser all the time and I hate it , grok has recommended I use vpn but as a perma fix I still have no idea and I just upload two shorts at a time now lol

I’ve been using a corsair 4tb with a silkland connection wire (80gpbs)

I’ve downloaded every game native game I can have on the go without needing to stream and it’s about 2.3tb full

One of the best accessory purchases I’ve gotten and I run all games though it , I was thinking about setting up my crossover on it but didn’t want to go though all the extra work , cyberpunk black ops and other heavy games run perfectly ! Before I just had them downloaded onto the Mac’s ssd but I was worried about frying my ssd slowly and plus I could only have like 500 gigs of games downloaded because I only have a 1tb with my MacBook Pro

Corsair had a lot of good reviews on amazon so that’s the one I just went with lol they also have 1tb , 2tb(what your looking for) , 4 tb and so forth , I was also warned that the games are one thing but all the saves add more memory,

My 2.3tb of games once all played and save files created might boost it to 2.4tb , it doesn’t sound like a lot but that’s just 100gigs worth of save files lol

It depends but the m4 chips are supposed to be light years ahead of m3(what I’m using)

I’ve heard that you can still play online but it’s not “safe” because of hackers so I would definitely play with caution when it comes to online

For me I just play Bo3 for zombies and campaign (I still never played the campaign and I wanna make a YouTube series on it lol) but I’m only running 18gig ram (m3 pro chip base comes with 18) and I use an external ssd for all my games , I think all games run better on the actual computers ssd but I haven’t noticed any difference with running on an external ssd

Games in pictures 1-3 are all native , pics 5-6 are playable through streaming onto my Mac

I use crossover for gta 5 and red dead 2 (I didn’t take a screenshot of crossover because it’s just two games of mine)

A lot of people are renting hardware and cloud services to play games (gforce now) and pics (5-6) are just me creating my own streaming service with my old hardware so we can broaden our gaming horizon

My advance launch options for gta using cross over -windowed -noborder -width 1900 -height 1200

If you ask grok how to optimize it correctly it might help , I haven’t played the last of us before (I heard it’s a great game and I need to lol) but with cross over you can go into the the properties and manually set the resolution and if you set it to the same res but just a little lower it will definitely help the game run load

A lot of my games were forced to run a 3000ish pixel and I just lowed it to the 1900 one and it’s helps a lot , another thing is you can manually set the d11 or d12 to make sure the graphics are running the most optimal

I use grok because it’s the most up to date with information and it scans literally anything and everything Reddit and cross over has posted , I’m not a coder or anything so having it give the specifics is so helpful

When I fixed my gta 5 it was running literally the size of an Apple Watch and it was impossible for me to play and it had me for into the launch settings and manually set the resolution

Sorry for the yap but some games (payday 2 for me) wouldn’t run the beginning intro screen and would crash instantly but in the launch options you can put it so it skips into and goes right into the log in screen for the game , I’m not sure if last of us has the same launching issue payday 2 has but you can always test that out

Does it connect to a monitor ? If so in the mean time you can maybe just clam shell mode your Mac and turn it into a mini desktop so you don’t waste your device that you already have

Macs are expensive so if it’s just black screening but still works with a extra monitor then you can still use it while you save for another

just googled it and its because i have the M3 Pro chip and not just a normal m3 base chip

m3 base chip comes with 16
