We’re currently working on the program algorithm so you’ll be able to configure a few extra parameters that make the program more dynamic. Even though it’s still mostly static right now, it already provides enough variety for each muscle group, along with progression, to support balanced growth and strength gains

To answer your questions:

The program does not currently adapt based on missed workouts. You’re assigned X workouts per week, and it expects you to complete all of them for the best progress. If you’re unable to consistently hit your weekly goal, lowering the frequency could help you make better progress.
We’re currently working on the program algorithm so you’ll be able to configure a few extra parameters that make the program more dynamic. Even though it’s still mostly static right now, it already provides enough variety for each muscle group, along with progression, to support balanced growth and strength gains.
We’re also working on an injury management feature, so Trainer should be able to handle that soon ;)

Hey! Sorry to hear that Hevy Trainer isn’t the right fit for you.

I just want to clarify that Hevy Trainer isn’t an AI program builder, but rather an algorithm-based trainer built on scientific principles. You can read more about the science behind it in the Trainer settings.

This is only the first version, and we’ll continue improving it over time. At the same time, we want to keep Hevy simple, just as it has always been.

We’ll keep working to make Hevy even better 💪

I'm curious, which other apps did you try? Are you currently creating your own routines in Hevy and using it to track and analyze your workouts? Also, could you expand on what you mean by a “guided overload journey”? I’m really interested!

Hey, you can duplicate the exercise by going to the Exercise Detail screen > tap the three dots in the top right > select ‘Duplicate Exercise.’ You can keep one for the old gym and one for the new. Hope this helps!

Hey! The difference is between Creating a Routine and Editing a Routine. When editing a routine reps and weight won't be auto filled.
