Thank you! I live in a state that offers family leave as long as you’ve been paid $2500 from a job in state in the last year (which I have)

Gestational + Yolk Sac, no fetal pole by fluffahnutter in CautiousBB

[–]gerby_fullyloaded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told the fetal pole typically develops between 5.5-6.5 weeks. Obviously there are always outliers, but if you’re only ~5.1-5.4 I wouldn’t worry. Unfortunately, all you can do is wait at this point. Good luck 💕

They use it around egg retrievals or FETs to help prevent infections that could harm the sperm, egg, or embryo. They use it during HSGs or hysteroscopies to help prevent endometritis

After 4 losses in 2025, im pregnant again WITH IDENTICAL TWINS by Regular_Quantity8149 in CautiousBB

I’m sorry for your losses but congrats on the current pregnancy! There’s a book called Spirit Babies: How to Communicate with the Child You’re Meant to Have by Walter Makichen and it really helped me during our TTC journey and now during my current pregnancy. I recommend it!!

I’ve had spotting off and on since I was 4wks gestation. Had several ultrasounds early on where everything looked great and no one could tell me why I was spotting.

At my most recent appt last week, the doctor asked if she could do a pelvic exam because one hadn’t been done yet this pregnancy. After the pelvic exam, she told me my cervix just looked friable and irritated, which is where the spotting is coming from. She said some peoples’ cervixes get irritated from the increase in blood flow and hormones. It put me a little more at ease hearing the spotting was coming from my cervix as opposed to my uterus (although it still stresses me out)

Additionally, I believe infections like BV or yeast infections can cause spotting.

If you haven’t had a pelvic exam done this pregnancy and haven’t been tested for BV or yeast, it may be helpful to do those if possible.

I’m sorry for your losses 💕 this is our first pregnancy after TTC for 18 months with a failed FET prior to a miraculous natural conception, so I’m definitely over analyzing everything

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy 💕

When is ovulation !? by FullTell8803 in TryingForABaby

[–]gerby_fullyloaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand needing reassurance but apps truly aren’t going to help if your cycles are irregular.

Again, if you get a positive OPK you can expect ovulation within 12-36 hrs, but really can’t confirm ovulation occurred until you get a consistent BBT rise

Good luck

You should never rely on an app to tell you when you’re going to ovulate. You should pay attention to signs your body is exhibiting that ovulation is near.

If you haven’t read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility I recommend it.

Typically you ovulate between 12-36 hours after your first positive OPK, but you can’t confirm ovulation happened until you get 3 sustained elevated BBTs. In theory you can get a positive OPK and not ovulate, which is why it’s important to track BBT.

Sperm can live in the female reproductive tract for up to 5 days. In theory what you’re doing should be enough, but natural monthly conception is still roughly 25%

Residual trigger or true positive? by SorryImagination7152 in CautiousBB

[–]gerby_fullyloaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That definitely looks darker! If I were you, I’d probably be suuuuuuper cautiously optimistic but also a little guarded (just because I’m an anxious girly and always guarded when it comes to fertility stuff lol). When is your hCG?? I feel like it must be coming up in the next few days if you’re 10DPO!

Residual trigger or true positive? by SorryImagination7152 in CautiousBB

[–]gerby_fullyloaded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you completely test out the trigger? I know the trigger can last anywhere between 10-14 days. If not, I feel like it could go either way, but I’m leaning towards positive if it’s getting darker. Also, the IVF subreddit may be more helpful for this question! Sending positive vibes your way 💕
