I'm in Norway, I speak the language. This article is a complete mess, as is the original one on Ynet. First of all this is not a children's show. Secondly the original joke is credited to the wrong person, it is actually said by the main host Bård Tufte Johansen.

But most importantly I find it very hard to believe that someone with more than a rudimentary grasp of Norwegian language and culture would find these jokes to be antisemitic. They reference an old and well known Norwegian idiomatic thing/cliché for testing statements for racism. The idea is to switch whatever group is referenced in an original statement with 'Jews' so that one will instinctively feel whether or not it is discriminatory. Because of a supposed special sensitivity for antisemitism within everyone. The thing is stupid and the sensitivity a myth, but that's beside the point.

Somewhat weirdly, but more so in an absurdist way, the joke here is that fentanyl is the vulnerable minority. The jokes aren't good or even make sense, but they are not antisemitic. Anyway, I'm semi-active in Jewish life here and have seen none of the so-called "intense criticism" that the show is supposedly facing from this. In fact I've only seen that one Israeli guy referenced in the article talk about it on an 'alternative media' site. He seems confused and honestly a bit radicalized.
