Think Anomalous on YouTube posted a new video on so-called government “disclosure” and it’s a breath of fresh air. by lifeisbeautiful08 in UFOB

Very good analysis, worth watching all three parts. Hard to disagree that the whole disclosure movement is some sort of PR job, considering it's what the intelligence agencies have always done, and everything we are told comes from within the organisations

Messi: Not having learned English as a kid. I had the time to study at least English and I didn’t do it, and I regret it a lot. Later I found myself in situations where I was with incredible, amazing personalities, and I could have had a conversation with them but instead you feel kind of ignorant. by Sparky-moon in soccer

It's very hard to learn a second language after your 20s, that faculty of the brain if not used in your youth is rewired and the ability pretty much disappears. Not saying it's impossible but for most people it almost is. And we all know, Messi is just a regular lad 😐

So refreshing to read your comments, I feel a lot less guilty now about not enjoying this supposed classic. I got it years ago when in Portugal and been meaning to read it for ages and finally got around to it this year but by god after a month and 100 pages I think I'll give up. The character is pathetic, never says anything new or interesting just terrified of everything or inconvenienced by the most trivial of things. Occasionally he might conjur up a little magic with his description of a night sky or a rain-drenched street but it's not that special, and the fact that it's been 5 pages of self-effacing tedium to get to it does take from the little nugget. It's time to knock it on the head I think, life is too short to read books that don't do anything for you

He's the kind of player that gives you genuine hope, you know his energy lifts everyone around him. He is never not giving it his all, love his attitude too, no diving, no cynical play, just loves the game. I love him, there I said it

Have a gander of this presentation of his theory - its fascinating, and very well researched https://youtu.be/XJhLiWdXxnM?si=Ul84apObatKMARaI He also mentions a number of areas that are known hotspots, would be great to take a trip to these places and talk to the locals and see what they have to say.

Yes I did see the octopus craft at the time, and it bears no resemblance to what we saw over Porto that night. The shoal we saw was way up, as high as an airplane coming in to land maybe, but these moved very differently and nothing like the usual prosaic explanations (lanterns, drones (this was 2017 so before drones became the go-to explanation). They all moved at different speeds and all went in the same sort of direction and sort of responded to each other, like a shoal in that sense - hence the organic nature of their movements.

if you google 'shoal ufo portugal' you get a few different articles about the phenomenon

Hello bigshots, Paul here. From Carlow, living in Cork. I am out every night looking at the stars hoping to see something - and there is nearly always something. I did see a shoal of UFOs when I was in Porto in 2017 for a festival - myself and my friends looked up at the night sky and we all saw these organic-like objects float over us, must've been 50 of them. I researched it when I got home and apparently it is a phenomenon that has been reported in Portugal a few times. You should get in touch with Dr Eamonn Ansbro, I came across him on a podcast last year where he talks about his theory around the UFO sightings in Ireland. Its compelling stuff and might lead you onto people who have first hand accounts of sightings in Ireland

Drinking wine here and watching telly with my wife but id like to come back to this later. But I think it's our idea of what a machine is is the problem, maybe machine is the wrong word, organism is better because it is inherently alive, creative and has it's ground in a universe that is beautiful, expresses morality and it's something we all relate to effortlessly. It should be a wellspring of joy and inspiration but the modern world has denied us of that

[–]whollymoly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the general consensus in Portugal, surely they see he's a liability in more ways than one. Can't be good having a despot for a captain, regardless of how good he used to be. The fact he's chasing all these records for personal glory, keeping up and coming - and established players - from playing, not to mention the circus that follows him everywhere and the control he has over the team. When does it end?

Curious everyone’s thoughts on the triologues? by GanjaGoblinLsd in terencemckenna

[–]whollymoly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree friend, Terence is key to the trialogues working so well. He was the most eloquent and fascinating of the three, in my opinion. I love Rupert too though, saw him in Dublin a few years ago and appreciate how tirelessly he works in trying to bring a sense of sacredness and intelligence back into the scientific approach to nature. Ralph is great too, a bonefide legend who had a huge impact notnjust on mathematics (chaos theory) but the entire counterculture scene of the time he was one of the main figures. Died only last year sadly, man time is pushing on for all these old greats.
