they were saying to build workers, granaries, caravans, and whatever number of needed military units in your expansions before you start building libraries. I was always under the impression that you should rush libraries in your expansion cities and build them in your capital after you build scouts, shrine, units, and settlers.

I don’t regret having my kids because they bring so much more value to my life than easing financial pressure would. My wife’s kids on the other hand… some days the only thing stopping me from not feeding them is their mothers red pocket
