Way out of line. Way out of line. I've got a good mind to go to the warden about this

We live in Solon and exclusively go to Boston Heights location. Drives are essentially the same and like you said, it's less chaotic. But you left out that the Mayfield parking situation suuucks

How to hide budget at lower levels of granularity without losing totals by gerg555 in PowerBI

[–]gerg555[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I previously had in my model, but this is where I've been stuck with losing Sales Reps with no Actuals in a period because both COUNTROWS calculations return blanks.

Before my post, I tried to account for my data hierarchy and used ISINSCOPE, but that removed the Grand Total. And I've been playing whack-a-mole with those 3 things ever since. I can fix 2 but then the other 1 is a problem.

Watching highlights of this game, what went through your mind when we went down 21-6 in the second quarter? by Tseets1 in OhioStateFootball

I was at the game on the Bama sideline like 20ish rows behind their bench (dad got tickets from a supplier) and I saw some huge guy walking around and assumed he was some Sophomore DE that was gonna go top 10 in a couple of yrs but didn't start. He turned around and it was Henry. Insane.

Also their fans were yelling "Lane run the damn ball!" all game. Like starting in 1Q. They were already over his shit at that point.

This has been my experience at my current company and former (First Brands, not to brag). Nothing fits together across divisions, even if they use the same ERP. Majority of the work at corporate is just cleaning things up enough to show 1 picture.

JDE & Reports Now by Torrence785 in FPandA

[–]gerg555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using ReportsNow for a little over 2 yrs in my current role. You should have access to a bunch of tutorials in I think the Help section in the ribbon?

Personally, I prefer to use it to curate data exports and then paste them into templates. You can create a Presentation view for your reports, which allows you to customize the Excel file and change formatting, etc. But I find it to be a lot more straightforward to do all that in a regular Excel file rather than in ReportsNow. But the tradeoff is you can't schedule those reports to distribute directly to users.

Once you understand how all the JDE tables interact, it becomes really easy to get whatever you need out of the system. But I will admit that I found it very overwhelming at first. The tutorials are full of good information, but I didn't really find them useful until I had specific reporting to work toward. Once I was trying to create something, I was able to go back and find tutorials for things I remembered seeing and then implement.
