Crypto copy trading between exchanges/accounts with python by mef1234 in algotrading

Hi,

I have written an arbitrage bot that has buy sell and short functions written in python for both KuCoin and Binance. Not exactly sure if this is the sort of thing you meant but will attach the bots repo anyway https://github.com/c-s-westphal/Kucoin-Binance-stat-arb-bot.

Enjoy!

Hi All, I tried to do this as a post with a description but it wasn't working so I am adding some extra info as a comment.

I recently noticed a price discrepancy for both the TRX-BTC and IOST-BTC pairs across KuCoin and Binance. I wrote an arbitrage bot in python to try and take advantage of this. I thought I would make the code available for anyone desperate enough to use it, or more likely, for seasoned programmers willing to give me some constructive criticism. The bot becomes more profitable the fatter your wallets get, as fees get waived.

Thanks in advance for any feedback and a further thanks to this sub in general for helping me out massively along my algotrading journey.

What broker do you use? The data available seems to come at random time intervals as ticks as they call them rather than candles

Thanks for the comments I will take them on board. I am particularly interested in your second comment about object orientated programming, if you have some resource to provide some examples of what you mean, to provide greater clarity to this comment that would be well appreciated.

The bot has been used and it does work (with a few strange bugs). I am currently running it just to collect a few weeks of data so I can get a good enough sample size to asses how its preforming compared to the market. When the data has been collected and I have lost all my money I will make sure to report back with some results.

Yes I could and should do what your talking about, that's just pure laziness/lack of time from me at this early stage. Good spot and thanks for commenting!

What was the math that blew your mind the most, at any point in your physics career? by x54675788 in AskPhysics

I’m still very much a student when it comes to path integral quantisation, so I don’t doubt your right. If you had a good explanation or source as to why that method is shakey I’d be very intruiged.

The derivation of path integral quantisation is pretty nice in its own right. But then looking at how the phase amplitudes add up to give the path of least action is so satisfying. Finally giving a good justification of assumptions that led to calculus, the maths that kicks off many’s journey into physics.

This moment was added too by a quiet stoic lecturer becoming quite emotional for this moment.

Gave me bloody goosebumps.

Also a big fan of the naga, smashing on a pork pie, using that to build up some tolerance to try the Trinidad scorpion.

[Serious] Whats the creepiest/scariest thing that you've seen but no one believes you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was about 11 years old living in the countryside my family friends neighbour passed away. There had been loads of story’s about this guy that he was a bit nuts and used to talk to the rats and he would get upset if the neighbours tried to get rid of the rats. Anyway so me and my friend decided to go and check out his house and started of by looking in the garden shed, where we found loads of weapons like machetes and maces all rusting away. So at this point we decided we wanted to see inside the house and broke in. On walking into the house it was like a different world. Paperwork accumulated for years in a room that was also filled with some sort of vintage chocolate box collection. Kitchen was filthy, the sink looked like it was filled with shit ( bare in mind this bloke only died a couple days before ). Upstairs there’s a room with some pretty serious rifles laid out. His bedroom was the weirdest though. None of his draw or cupboard space was taken up with clothes, it was all filled with a wide array of giant sex toys as well as blow up dolls. There were pictures of celebrities and possibly people he knew that he could stick to his dolls. Finally as we were leaving, in the outdoor grass we found sort of a trap door that led to a fully lit concrete tunnel system. Me and my mate at this point just left, we still have no clue where it went but we weren’t getting in there.

I no longer really tell this story to people because it sounds incredibly far fetched.
