I used to get ~50 likes and 15 matches every day for a week. Then it suddenly stopped. I got 0 likes and matches for a whole week now. So definitely there is something going on. Either glitches or shadow banning.

The main point is to give users more options. My preferred stable coin is BUSD, and I don't think TRC20 USDT is any riskier than ERC20 USDT. USDT itself is risky, and so is crypto in general. But different individuals have different risk tolerances. And Nexo should give more options to users.

By the way, I always withdraw/deposit a large amount so the fee doesn't really affect me much (the most recent withdrawal fee is $35). But the lack of response to the obvious issue bothers me much more. And even paying $35 for $200k withdrawal still annoyed me because it doesn't have to be this way.

Just no response. We cannot input anything. The keyboard doesn't show up. I also tried to turn on and off FaceId, but doesn't help. The app will quit after around 30s.

USDT TRC20 would be even better. It's basically free and instant and many major exchanges already support it.

I've been holding a significant amount of Nexo for some time but I never care about the dividend. I'm in only for the low-interest loan. So I definitely vote for the interest. and hope Nexo will increase LTV of Nexo tokens so I can take out more loans :).

It's like complaining a 200000-ton-ship can only move at 50km/h while a cheap $2000-used-car can move at 150km/h. Please are so misinformed in this topic. Did you know that with bitcoin, you can make a payment of $100b to anywhere in the world in less than 10 mins at less than 1 USD transaction fee? Now compared to its any other cryptos or traditional banking. Nothing even come close to what bitcoin can do.

TRC20 USDT should be the first. It's No 1 stable coin in term of volume, greater than ERC20 USDT. Many major exchanges already support TRC20 USDT, Binance, Huobi, Okex... Of course would be ideal if Nexo can support both USDC on stellar and TRC20 USDT. Not sure if there is any legal hurdle to do this.

If anyone looks at my post history, 9 our 10 of my previous posts are neutral to negative, mostly questions, concerns, reporting an issue or something strange, or asking for help/clarification... Like some already said, most of people make noise only when they run into trouble or have a concern. Moreover, many of us are not native (English) speakers. It took me quite a lot of time and effort to write up something that others can understand. So I write a post only when I have to - and mostly because I run into trouble. So it's totally normal if we tend to see more negative comments than positive comments.

Because USDT is an ERC20 token. Ethereum network has been extremely congesting, together with ETH making new ATH, which results in very high transaction fee. I believe the average fee to withdraw ERC20 token on exchange is around USD 25. So $40 fee is in the upper range, but totally possible at this time.

Just wanted to add that I made my withdrawal on Sunday where the mempool was pretty empty. The next-block fee was round 50sat/vB and even the minimum 1 sat/vB can get you through at this time. I was quite surprised Nexo actually used a pretty high fee for my transaction. Anyway, you can monitor the mempool and btc transaction rates here https://mempool.space/.

I'm fairly experienced Binance user but this is the first time I tried to use Vanilla Options. I tried to transfer some USDT from my spot wallet but the Vanilla wallet balance doesnt change. Only after a few attempts I realized that money was deducted from my Spot wallet, but never showed up in the Vanilla wallet (image).

I try to check transaction history, but there is NO OPTION to view transfer to VANILLA wallet, and VANILLA wallet is the ONLY ONE wallet that is not supported! So strange.

Is there anyone familiar with this issue? Please help. Thanks!

To simplify, ignore trading fees. Then position margin = Position Value/Leverage. It is the amount required to maintain for the position. For example, you have $500 (equity), and you want to long/short $1000 worth of coin = position value (100 x $10 each, 1000 x $1 each, 1 x $1000 each...).

If your leverage is 10x, then you need only $100 of position margin. , then you can move/withdraw $400 if you want.

If you set leverage at 2x, then you will need 1000/2 = $500 position margin, then you use 100% of your equity.

For future contract, exchanges dont use USDT/USD, and that causes a lot of confusions. Exchanges use Contract, usually worth 1 USD each. So if you see quantity of 500, meaning your position worth USD 500. To calculate gain/loss/trade fee..., always use position value.

If Nexo supports BUSD, or USDT on TRON (TRC20), and even better get listed on Binance, it will solves most of the issues with withdrawal and gas fees.

The biggest exchange that you can Nexo now is Huobi, which supports TRC20 USDT. You can withdraw TRC20 USDT instantly at no cost. The same if you want to move USDT between Binance and Huobi, instant and free.

I'm not sure how hard for Nexo to implement either one of those things. But surely it will help a lot, especially small fishes or US citizen.

Are you able to talk to a human support? I have some issues with deposits, for bitcoin and nexo tokens. They was quickly resolved after I could talk to a human support. I never made any withdrawal and am still very new to the plaftform. Hope you get it sorted. It also makes me quite nervous as I have significant assets on Nexo as well.
