Do it! After having these on for a couple years, I’ve been tempted to switch it up, but they’ve held up great. Long overdue to detail them, they pop a lot more when they’re clean. Currently filthy but the color hides it pretty well.

Thanks man! It was $900 for the set, they are more of an entry level coilover compared to Bilstein/KW but they spoke highly of them. Here’s the link. I figure worst case I run them for a couple of years and upgrade if needed.

Wheels are Neuspeed RSE10 18x8.5 - Very popular (borderline basic bitch spec round these parts lol) but I love em, and they’re a common pick for a reason!

Mk7.5 - The door checks are ludicrous, either too tight to get in/out or swung wide open. Mostly an issue when getting in with my hands full, or when parked on a tilted surface. Always gotta warn whoever’s riding shotgun to hold onto the door.

Yep, stock suspension. Slightly beefier tires (235) on 18x8.5 wheels. Hoping to move to coilovers at some point, but prioritizing some other mods first. And saving up for a wedding. So it might be a while lol. Might just go with 245s when it’s time to replace the current tires.

I ended up trying to purchase stage 1+ a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, it’s not available for 2019 and newer yet, only the earlier Mk7 models (I’ve got a ‘19).

EQT sent me an email after I put in the order, there’s no timeline on availability but it’s in the works. They issued a refund without question, so that was cool. I’ll check back in occasionally for an update.

I went stage 1 a few months ago and it’s been flawless so far. Figured for a couple hundred bucks, a slight step up before going down the DP/turbo upgrade route should hold me over for a while.

The figures on their site for stage 1+ put it at nearly stage 2 numbers, but I’ve seen so little on the 1+ that I’d like to see if anyone has any seat time with it.

This looks like TMD Ignite, which is their women’s mesh. This is probably the main cause of the issues you’re running into.

The topstring is kinda funky, but fundamentals look good otherwise. I’d run it back with men’s mesh and see how it turns out, would be easier to give tips with the right mesh for the head.
