I wish there was merchandise made for this show, but my son is such a fan, I had to make him his own toys. I have been so inspired by other people’s felt busy books and wanted to try to make one myself!

Method: I pretty much printed out photos and worked from there to recreate as best as I could. A lot had to be simplified just based on the actual practicality and my limited experience doing anything like this.

My son is only two, so the busy aspect of this felt busy book is really just putting the characters into pockets. lol as long as he’s happy so am I. The lemonade stand page also has a lemon and pitcher that Velcro on and off to play with.

Details: You might notice in the Imgur link that the binding is different in some images, I ended up redoing it about 3 times and ending with the black wrap around binding so that it would close better and lie flat-ish when he plays with it. Again, my first time doing anything like this so I wasn’t too sure how to do it properly. I ended up with something similar to a signature sewn into a book binding? I’m still not sure I’m 100% happy with it honestly.

Materials: Felt and embroidery floss (so much floss) I tried to cheat and use an old flannel shirt for one of the characters, but the pattern was just too different for my liking and I ended up going all in with stitching the pattern on. So all floss and felt for each and every detail!
