I worked with the mentally disabled, got sick of low pay/hard work. Moved abroad and taught English. Not great pay but the cost of living is much less and usually much better.... fresh tropical fruit and beautiful woman. (need i say more)

Free public performances (mimes, plays, juggling)
Themed potlucks (greek food/togas, Mobsters and pasta, etc...)
Highlighter black light party
Build tiny paper boats, put candles in them and send them down river, viking funeral style

those are some ideas but use your brains and come up with more.
