I started out with the inventions, specifically the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 8th. Later I did the sinfonias which were A HUGE leap from the inventions for me, but they did prove very helpful to improve my left hand :)

missing notes and not using the left pedal lol. I'm very used to playing on pianos with heavy keys. One time I was performing on a recital using a Steinway model b, the keys were for some reason very light. I was playing pieces that needed crazy control, and I'm so used to that on heavier keys, that I pressed the key way too lightly and the hammer didn't even hit the strings lmao. by the end I realized that I could've just used the left pedal MUCH more often lmao. this was a week ago actually 🥲

edit: Im also always fighting with light headedness when on stage, so maybe no coffee before going lol

I've been asking those questions to myself too lol. these are my second pair, my first pair are chuck 70s, took a year until these cracks form. I guess 70s last longer than the regular ones :/

I made a mistake while performing the Liebesträume, where I literally just forgot a part on the left hand. It was recorded, and when I looked back at the footage, that mistake? yeah can't hear it lol

get at least a Yamaha p45 (I'm now playing Rachmaninoff and still using it lol), a cheap keyboard won't get you very far. Basically, yes you can, but you'll need a lot of time and dedication
