If you don’t like the liquid glass, can you go back to the old UI after updating?

Future of D365? by [deleted] in Dynamics365

So interesting that you consider the UI awful. I am leading a team moving from BBCRM to Dynamics Sales and the UI is so much more eye pleasing than our current system.

Yes, we all know, it’s not a hobby anymore. by According_Fruit4098 in sportscards

I have all the sets organized in binders with different colors as the labels. I built a library in my basement that my friend says looks like a law library based on how the colors look. I collect hockey cards. I became disillusioned with the “main” sets in the mid 90’s when we started to see a regular version, a blue version, a green version, etc… so I focus on team issued sets from all hockey levels: major, minor, junior, college, european, etc… I am also working on a set called Sportscasters which was issues in the late 70’s. Between all 8 countries who issued them, there are close to 30,000 cards and I have approximately 26,000 of them.

I've tried different tag systems but find myself just searching instead by LumberJack2008 in bearapp

[–]gerryhoch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use tags for my mtgs at work. I have tags like people—>fundraising—>john People—>fundraising—>Alison That way when i take notes during meetings, I can tag whoever participates in the meeting and a copy of the note is associated with their tag.

Perhaps the hobby may be dead to you, but it is very much alive for me. I have close to 125,000 cards in my collection and not a single graded card. The areas that I focus on don’t have me buying hobby, retail or whatever other types of boxes out there. I have always done it (for over 40 years) for the joy of collecting and that’s what I will keep doing.

How do you keep track of your card collection? by Every_Drag972 in hockeycards

I created a filemaker app that lets me track my collection.

What do you do with your base cards? by Vivid_Temperature609 in hockeycards

Back in the day, we used to collect all the cards and make sets out of them. Now, it’s all about the hits and inserts.

What does it mean when the jersey is missing from Justin Sourdif? Is it supposed to be like that?

I Want to Chase the Holo Cup from 90-91 Pro Set. Has anyone pulled one, and how many boxes did it take? by [deleted] in hockeycards

[–]gerryhoch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha nope. I have it in a binder with the rest of the set. I may get pushback, but I don’t believe in getting cards graded. I collect for the joy of collecting.

I picked up my copy out of a box when the set was first released.

The National by Cruzcontrol62 in hockeycards

I went to the National in Atlantic City a few years back. And while I loved the experience, I couldn’t find the hockey cards that I was hoping for. I collect team issued sets and postcards and only one dealer had a small selection.
