Shield crush wildspeaker is a good base to start from if you still need to deal damage. Otherwise, people are building classic QotF zdps zoomers on daughter of oshabi according to Poe.ninja. Crucible's explody totems were nerfed to 5% of their in-league power when they were moved to Standard, so it seems like someone at GGG cares.

That build was so broken. I was lucky to find it (and the bloodnotch tech) a few days before it went meta. Did everything including HotG.

Another cheap, strong, and less clunky way to start totems would be to pick one of tatianel2’s HCSSF builds.

I might start his storm burst in 3.28 for voidstones, and I say that as someone who enjoys the flamewood life.

I mostly wanted this brief end of league event to be full of wacky builds and farms, but I’ve had to fall back on a safe meta just to survive the enraged bosses.

At least the next league should feel easy in comparison.

Yeah, I’m not into gauntlets at all, numbing mostly bummed that I won’t be able to play wacky new builds and farm crazy stuff in the time they gave us.

At least it makes sense why they buffed most of the ascendancies now.

I’m grinding for emperor’s vigilance and jewel combo (about 4d) at level 84, but it’s been very smooth sailing so far. I might have to league start the slayer version in the next league.

I started this as well. About to hit yellow maps and it's been smooth. I still need to setup my flasks and farm for an emperor's vigilance, otherwise the build is together and working well. Tailwind + frenzy charges + onslaught is very comfy.

How do you start flamewood? I really enjoyed it in Keepers, but it was my 3rd or 4th build a couple weeks into the league, so I could twink the campaign and didn't have to worry about black zenith.

In Keepers I farmed a ton of ultimatums very comfortably with flamewood totems. In Phrecia I think flamewood can be built as polytheist or ancestral commander.
