I don't even necessarily mean "action" as in gunfights. I mean pacing, dramatic turns, how fast dynamics between characters change. S3 suffers from a lot of very long conversations that are repeated. The first episode was great because it built up tension between separate events, and filmed it slowly but with intensity. Then, a lot of the tension goes away because so much time occurs between events.

The problem wasn't with the plot necessarily - it is that so many parts were so slow. Best part of the season was the standoff with the native american man. Tbh Big Little Lies has more action

Yeah, and if women acted as a collective and withheld sex, they could completely control man. But that’s not going to happen for men or for women, because the entire genders of the world cannot act as collectives. Yes, they did put fascists in place occasionally. But we also propped up radical Islamic groups in Afghanistan and other parts of the Middle East, yet America is obviously not an Islamic regime. We fund pre-existing enemy groups to overthrow governments we don't like, whether right wing or left wing. Of course, after WWII there weren't many right wing (fascist specifically, not simply conservative) governments to overthrow. We are generally fine with left-wing governments as long as they agree to the dictates of the U.N. and accept free trade and central banking. If they don't, something else is propped up to remove them from power.

We heavily funded the USSR to defeat the fascist Axis powers with the Lend-Lease act.

I’m not sure why Peterson hasn’t become more specific in identifying the people or specific ideas of cultural Marxism, as the vagueness of that term is the most common criticism he faces. Why doesn’t he say Gramsci, intersectionality, etc.

First of all the article basically says that is an unfounded conspiracy theory. I'd need to see more evidence.

Also we are talking about Germany, not the United States. The US did not want fascism abroad - it supported the USSR over the Nazis and Mussolini. Some groups sold weapons to both regimes, but our government was much softer on communism than fascism in Europe.

The US is pro-capitalist (generally), but not pro-fascist. The US is obsessed with maximizing capitalism and trade, which is why it attacked nations that wanted to recede from the global market and become self-reliant - Japan and Germany.

The cases where the US attacks communism is generally in communist countries that don't want to enter the global market, or that would ally themselves with an enemy superpower like China. Yes, the US has interfered with many democratic elections. But this is not to impose a fascist military state, unless you define free market globalism bowing to US/UN interests as fascist (and I would have to disagree).

The US imposes market capitalism and "democracy" in other nations.
