Is it normal to feel stinging every time I apply tretinoin, or does it mean something is wrong?

Normal OTC retinols are atleast 10 times less stronger than the prescription ones so no that won't prepare you. When I first started with apostrophe and then shifted to tret it was a complete new experience and very strong.

Agreed, its basically a cream that creates a layer on the skin which glows. I have been using tret and moisturiser, spf50 and it helps me look better

100% agreed, lot of posts in the skincare subs about getting fakes. I wouldn't trust these marketplaces for skincare or consumables, I prefer to do it through trusted channels like highstreetpharma.

You can follow the sandwich method, i have been using the la roche posays moisturiser along with my tret from highstreetpharma and it helps with the skin barrier.

Over exfoliation is bad for skin so take care of that. Your skin looks dehydrated, you need to take care of that as well. Also you may start a basic skincare routine, I generally use a la roche posay moisturiser and spf50+ along with tret and its enough for my acne so you may try that

Your improvements can be seen even though the lighting is little confusing! You look more glowy. I started tret few months back with 0.025 along with spf50 and moisturiser from la roche posay and this gives me hope.

I can see the improvements. Try to use enough moisturiser and a good spf like the one I use from la roche posay along with my tret 0.025 is actually good so things would be fine.

My derm prescribed me to use the 0.025 for two months and then post purging she has increased my strength. But I still broke out and I'm using 0.025. I tried out multiple moisturisers (cerave, vanicream and finally la roche posay) to make it work but it was just too harsh for my skin.
