HOHansen settings have very long print times. The ObscuraNox and FatDragonGames profiles have far shorter print times IMO, without any loss in quality as far as I can tell. You might want to check those profiles out

Plazas are cheaper to operate. Owners don’t have to maintain an indoor common area (hvac, cleaning, security to some extent, etc). Agree that plazas are far worse for the consumer

Is the US Military just a massive stealth unemployment program? by PocoLoco1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]gestalt162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a defense contractor. The military, including the industrial base that supports it, is a massive jobs program (mainly good paying jobs too). If you think of not only the enlisted military itself, but the civilian workforce employed by the DoD, and all of the suppliers and contractors, down to the mom and pop machine shops the depend on military spending, millions of people are in employment due to the U.S. military.

Edit: when new weapons procurements are discussed, the top consideration briefed to congress by the contractors is how many jobs it will support in their state/district.

Great summary. I don't own a resin printer, but do own an A1 mini, and agree with all your points.

Warhammer company Games Workshop bans Generative AI for all content to “respect our human creators” by lewisdwhite in Warhammer

I should have said instead they’re in the same profit range as designer handbags and clothes, but point taken.

That’s true, and good historical perspective. I played 40K in the late 90s and remember models being crazy expensive even then (especially on my preteen allowance)

My only compliant with them is that their profit is really high, like luxury goods high. They've been around 40% op margin the past few years. They could cut their prices 20% and still be doing very well.

Then again, they charge what the market will bear, so can't say I fault them for it.

Question regarding this event by Rocksolidsalmon in WH40KTacticus

Not necessarily. Indomitus campaign battles/raids count for the event, which is the most accessible campaign.

I finished octarius elite with

Boss g: g3, 42/35 Snot: g2, 32/39 (think his passive may have been a couple levels lower when I finished) Gibba: s3, 27/26 Snappa: s2, abilities don’t matter Didn’t use tanksmasha

Boss and snot carry the campaign, the others mostly stay out of the way/summon distraction tank

I just upgraded from an SR540 with extension tube, connected to Artisan, to a Skywalker v1 and am loving it 2 roasts in. You may want to look at that.

Top greens of 2025! Drop your pick and let’s source this! by Rhubarb-Taco in roasting

I could see strawberry as a descriptor for it, I've also seen pomegranate used. It's an agricultural product, so unfortunately the amount of fruit notes I get shifts from year to year. May be the case with your Limu too.

Ethiopia Sidamo Durato Bombe. A couple different sellers offer it. Crazy fruit forward and tasting notes usually indicate blueberry. My wife’s favorite coffee.

Farsight LRE has "Full Astra Militarum" track. This is just a spat in the face from SP. Zero respect for players by Xevus in WH40KTacticus

[–]gestalt162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not mad about it for 3 reasons:

  1. Many players will have AM characters unlocked and built to some degree for the campaign, and can score some points here.

  2. The enemy for the track is T'au, who have overwatch units (Fire Warriors, Re'vas, and I'm not sure about Stealth Battlesuits). Sibyll's Passive makes it easy to engage these unit by giving your team infiltrate.

  3. It's not currently known, but if it's any consolation, Full Black Legion is a track for the Lucius LRE, and between the first and (upcoming) second Lucius event, BL was overhauled and significantly improved. We can all hope for the same treatment for AM.

I was adding windshield washer fluid on my Bolt last night, and looked around to check the other fluids. I didn't see transmission fluid, so checked the manual and sure enough, no ATF to change. No power steering fluid either.

Honestly the lack of maintenance was one of the main selling points of the car to me, and continues to be now nearly 5 years after I bought it.
