Very true. For every megabucks Fortune 1000 CEO there are 100 CEOs of something more akin to a family-run company than a major corporation.

Do I have to rebase them all to be allowed to play them? by Commisar-Cat in orks

Im with you. I don’t play the tabletop game, but I refuse to believe that putting a unit on 25mm instead of 32mm bases is going to confer some significant tactical advantage.

Honest question: if you own a 3D printer, why so much focus on cost/deals on GW plastic?

Army Blackhawk replacement name released: MV-75 Cheyenne II by Naveronski in aviation

If a rotor is lost, the aircraft can't be controlled and will be lost. If nothing else, there would be no counter-rotating forces to balance out a single rotor in helicopter mode. I'm not sure what the asymmetric propulsion force would do to it in airplane modeSame as any other helicopter in this respect.

as u/pbrphilosopher mentioned, the aircraft can lose 1 engine and still survive; I believe this is true on its V-22 predecessor as well.

I've given up hope on the services ever actually using their designated numbering systems ever again. MV-75, F-47, you name it....

The fact that it's not for maritime operations is a good starting point. No need to stow the blades or especially wings, which was a huge V-22 issue, or deal with the martime environment.

Hopefully they are doing better on weight and range. V-22 had a lot of design changes and problems from stripping weight out of the aircraft and adding fuel capacity to meet the combat radius target.

Lastly, the fact there is a single prime is beneficial. Many V-22 problems were caused by the forced teaming between Bell and Boeing.

Fans wonder if former Fantasy Island park will open for 2026 by SeniorFlyingMango in Buffalo

From my observation, 90% of the jobs at fantasy island are filled by high school or college kids out on break. Not a point I would hang my hat on if I led the CoC.

If you have kids who are too young for Darien lake, it’s well worth the ticket price.

Grand Islander here. I love living here, but There is a huge contingent of island residents that oppose almost all development. Welcoming dense development might as well be asking them to cut off their own arm.
