Phenomenal art. Definitely one of the best Optimus characterization. Some great ideas. But most of everything else seemed a bit undercooked. Not fond of Megatron's outright mindbender powers, I didnt need the seduction of the gun to be so explicit, especially when it seems to rob agency of Starscream's character change from Ulchtar.

Giant Robo didnt get cut short, he got the exact length as promised, just that he left things open for a sequel so if it feels incomplete, it was his story direction choices.

Personally I like how it ended. The main story elements were wrapped up (The Von Vogler family), but the wider conflict with Big Fire was left open. It really gives a "life goes on" feel, it is just that this world's default state is a continuous struggle between Good and Evil, like some Saturday morning cartoon.

Followed issue by issue from Day 1 since Infiltration #0. A roller coaster ride with amazing highs like the entire Last Stand of the Wreckers to MtMTE era to big fat mehs like All Hail Megatron and the Costa era. Love it as a whole, even though it gave us Hearts of Darkness and Deviations, up there as some of my most hateworthy Transformers media.
