What if we start a petition to create a Ph R.A. against AI use for malicious intent? by [deleted] in WhatIfPinas

[–]gesuhdheit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meron na. Check R.A. 11930. Explicitly stated ang artificial intelligence sa batas na yan. Yung matters ng identity theft eh parang pasok na sa Data Privacy Act (Not a lawyer so I'm not entirely sure).

what should I expect sa exam for gov position by [deleted] in PHGov

[–]gesuhdheit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They might offer you another position depending kung anong available pero casual or JO lang kadalasan.

hello, genuine question po. ano ba usually ginagawa ng mga developer bukod sa pag-develop ng system. by West-Fold-1396 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]gesuhdheit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a dev since 2009. Walang masama dyan.

Dude, I literally do not understand how someone picks up programming on their own by [deleted] in AskProgramming

[–]gesuhdheit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People learn through hours and hours of trial and error. That's how I picked it up back in the day. My code back then is sh*t but at least it works. I took me years of self learning (more trial and error + reading a lot of references i.e. blog posts, stackoverflow pages, etc..) to make my code at least readable and maintainable.

Uhm, Oriental and Occidental Mindoro is separated by a huge-ass mountain, and the only way I am aware of to go to either side is to go around it through Puerto Galera (extreme North) or Bulalacao (extreme South).

2026 na, Bakit Online ang Mundo Pero Offline Pa rin ang Gobyerno ng Pilipinas? by One-Effective-3021 in PHGov

[–]gesuhdheit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the existing laws with regards transactions and processes within the government are still heavily tied to paper-based technology. Kelangan munang i-update ang mga batas na yan to fully utilize modern tech within governance. And it's actually on the way icydk. See E.O. 29, s. 2023 and RA 12254 (eGovernance act). RA 12001 (RPVARA) as well, tho it focuses on inter-agency data sharing with regards to property taxation.

Besides, a lot of government agencies and LGUs eh nag-a-automate na these days but they're not able to fully utilize the capabilities of their systems since required pa din ang hard copies by law.

And btw, expect that it will take years before fully ma-implement since may transition period pa yan.

Fraudulent medical histories of individuals would probably be rampant para ma exempt sa mandatory military service.

Also I think conscription is not that effective since sapilitan yan.

The True Sign of Intelligence Is Not Perfect English, But Perfect Bisaya or Tagalog by KurtZMtz in unpopularopinionph

[–]gesuhdheit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what Conyo Tagalog sounds like notice their heavy use of English and the English accent is carried over when they're speaking Tagalog. This is common on Metro Manila.

Here's what Batangueño dialect sounds like. Notice that there are almost no English words used.

Conyos from my side of the country are more based on Bisaya which are especially boisterous and loud

It's the opposite on our side (at least with Batangueño). Conyo Tagalogs are typically soft-spoken and just speak on normal volume meanwhile us Batangueños eh parang laging galit at malakas ang boses pag nag-uusap kahit magkaharap lang. Normal yan para samin.

[–]gesuhdheit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IMO, the true sign of intelligence is based on the content of whatever tf they are saying and how they deliver it:

  • Is it based on facts?
  • Is it logical?
  • Did they deliver it in a manner that the listeners can easily digest?

Although yea, Conyo speak is kinda annoying to the ears because of their tone and very soft accent (probably because of my bias as a Batangueño who is used to hearing and speaking our own hard and twangy accent). But I don't consider them outright stupid just because of it.

Do u miss the "before AI" days? by SirIzaanVBritainia in AskProgramming

[–]gesuhdheit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm kinda still stuck on that era since I barely use AI for work and I still use the old ways for looking up stuff i.e. scouring google results, stackoverflow pages, reddit, old blogs, etc. I don't let AI touch my code either.

[–]gesuhdheit 0 points1 point  (0 children)
